hi guys.. anyone went for aftermarket pipe inspection before..??

did they took pic of ur bike..?? from header all the way to end of pipe..

its normal or wat..??

Dear guys what will happen if I purchased a Endcan Overseas like USA or Japan, and come here and use it, do I need to go for inspection to certify it ?

 

The pipe has run thru vigorous testing and is used on their streets. So what do I have to do

i have the same delima as you. exhaust is sourced in from overseas. Now that the agent is in singapore, they said they wun do certification because not bought from them. Emailed the manufacturer, they faxed me the certificates stating that it is a street legal EU approved exhaust. Called ** LTA, they say to make a copy of the docs, then write an application letter to apply for the modification. **on reviewing, and if they approve it, they will send a leter asking us to fix it ** and got for inspection.

I am suprise that for Road Issues...they should have like a united kind of Road Organization...Like the WHO...not the band but World health Org....If we sourced out STREET Legal item form other country, why not its legal here??I agree that we should send copys of it from the manufacturer...But PAYING them a tremedous amount just to get it on the bike is ridiculous...

I'm not condemning that...If they really want to conserve the planet they should work together with other agency from the diff countries.....sian...Pay and Pay...no pun intended :p

Not sure how long.. cos i have not done it yet, i have all the documents already. but currently exam period.. so have to wait till Aug..

Hey,

 

Just out of curiosity, did we always have to pay for vehicle inspections? Maybe I forgot but last year and the year before I don't remember paying $18 for my bike inspection.
