It all depends on ur budget bro.... if u wan to save more on maintenance wise i suggest u ride a kr. My first bike is Sp, parts wise very expensive. Depends on ur lck if u can get a gd wan tis dayz. If kr parts both jb and s'pore can get easily... now im currently riding Kr, gd bike i is say compare sp to krr in maintenace wise. My krr never service for 6mths (always ride 90km/hr-100km/hr) due to financial wise jus full service at jb so far no problems at all. Been riding it for 2yrs now so far no major breakdown jus normal wear and tear( tyres, brake pads etc.) jus my two cents bro...

 

For oil wise, compare sp(mod) n kr(mod) i will still support kr!! the same mod i did to both bike... Krr fuel consumption still the best! :cheers:

Sigh....those were the 2B days where the true xing jiao (Chinese retronym for "newbie") is bounded by the colourful yellow and orange designator aptly placed conspicuously on one's bike, denoting one's forced devotion to a small machine, capable of fueling one's adrenaline with that much needed pickup so inherent in 2-strokers, you could have sworn it was the next thing to heaven for that trying 1 year as a xing jiao.

 

For me, I've gotta move on.

The NSR 150SP is but a history. :)

My personal opinion when comparing KIPS,TZM and Honda SP are as follows;

 

TZM

Facts:

1)Built to rule the 125cc for another 20 years since the first production bike.

2)One of the first revolutionary outlook design in the 80s

3)Bullet proof engine built to abuse, restore,haul and abuse..the cycle continues

4)Brings lots of nostalgia for the rider and to their EXs riders.

5)To be the fastest yet nimble

 

Honda SP

1)Built to challenge Yamaha bad boy TZM

2)Proven engine reliability and engineering precision

3)Power in sprint yet nimble

4)A machine to go fast and prolong distance

 

KIPS

1)Built to dominate over Tzm and SP

2)Powerful engine

3)Nimble and maneuverable

4)One of the first true bike to reach 180 km/h on the speedo without modifications

 

The above are Japanese SAMURAI!!!

 

Soon, the European will invade with their Aprillia stalions

i saw one before... our RPM max is 13 only... yours is 15 i think... maybe that why your bike can go faster...
