Ya know, if it works, everybody here would be secretly purchasing it and happily would proclaim $tarhyb sucks.

I have my doubts though:

[1] Where do you mount the satellite dish? If you are unlucky to have your house face behind the actual satellite in space, then I'm sorry to say, you can watch TV when Earth's rotation (and your satellite dish) finally aligns with the space satellite.

**I don't know how satellite transceivers in space rotate around Earth; and their rotating patterns as well, so I might need some help here. Anyone?

[2] Sillypore's Infocrap Developshit Authority (I D A) might have known that people will one day try it out -- hence they might have already filled our Sillypore skies with anti-satellite-TV signals to stop that from happening.

Anyone with spare cash they wanna throw away to (at least) give it a try? We'll blanja you sharks-fin soup if you do :)

satellite tv.. nothing new.... if u been out to country even north malaysia there are ppl using it. .but not that many.. east malaysia almost every houses have this satellite about 1.5 - 2.5 meter size.... thailand also not uncommon, china even more.... normally they can view most of the channel around the world but only those free 1.... none of channel tat offered in starhub are able to view (as far as i saw many of them), and check with the ppl who fix it, they cant make it work too cos those pay channel keep changing their code frequently... cant keep track....

not impossible to have this thing in singapore.. but like someone says, garmen will summon you for having a satellite witout license... hard to use it here as the law too strict :)

Meeeh. you guys never read the damn link.

Its touted as a "satellite TV on your Computer". You dont need to install a bloody satelite, just use an internet connection to stream the shows.

is an internet streaming TV programme..

You don’t need a satellite dish, receiver, or any cable or satellite service! All you need is an internet connection and a computer.

Watch all these channels anywhere in the world. More than 1 million users are already enjoying the incredible variety.

Oops, you are right...I guess the satellite dish is placed somewhere away from SG, but we're connecting to it via internet. Interesting
