how come since the '03 CBR600RR, the designers at Honda keep coming up with such horrible paint schemes ah? the CBR brothers onli look nice in 2 types of color schemes: either solid single colour, or conventional honda wing like some of the '03 CBR600RR. i realli hated the fish gill wings of the '05 CBR600RR and '05 CBR1000RR, i tot the silver/red/blue scheme was too captain america, and i definitely think the wings of the latest '06 CBR1000RR look like lion's mane out of a cartoon.

 

which is a shame, coz in any one of the two colour schemes i like, both the CBR brothers look gorgeous in the flesh.

Think the black one still looks the best.. to me :thumb:

yah thats what i meant.

 

all-black, all-blue, all-red, all-yellow, all-silver; these look good because the bike's shape itself is already gorgeous. among these colour schemes, its all down to which colour you like the most of. i like all-black or all-silver, but i can certainly understand how another person prefers the all-yellow or all-blue. but err 'solid' colour please, i rather not see pearl orange or royal purple or neon green or baby blue or hot pink.......

 

want to put 'wing', put a traditional honda wing, like the red/black scheme seen above. then just pick two colours which complement each other, like red/black or black/silver or any/black even.

 

simple right? what pearl orange lah, tribal lah, 'fish gills' lah, 'lion mane' lah......

jus wondering, how many of 600RR brothers here on if we have a wkday night meetup at, say, west coast park macdonald's instead?

 

i jus wondering if such a location might gather even more interest than kallang. of coz, i could be wrong in that most 600RR in the east.

i stay bt panjang. but often go clementi park bike there coz girlfren live there.

 

i suggested WCP Mac coz a lot more convenient (to me) compared to kallang. and nice also wat. can squeeze past the posts leading into a bit of the park and take foto. of coz, at night foto a bit hard to see but oh well.

 

if more ppl stay west, and the east 600RR's willing, maybe organizing 600RR meet-up at WCP mac on say, friday night, might be successful.

but saturday afternoons/evenings and sundays perhaps ppl busy with other socialising. so wkday night or saturday morning sounds best to me.

my highbeam is left spotlight.

 

in other words, the spotlight on the same side as the passing signal switch.

 

i oso notice in mags some left some right. i think coz in some countries like UK, they have laws stating their bikes when low beam must dip one direction. i think we have no sch requirement so we end up some left some right.
