yes...yes. going track is just to have fun.

at same time...see what ur beloved 600cc superbike can DO in de track.

of course...if serious in DO-ing track...then some form of basic protection investment is needed la.(the cost is not low lor....as compare to street-race but atless it MUCH safer and would kanna runover by cars/lorry/truck ! )

Tire cost also another factor lor....change tires every few mth may prove to be a wallet-eater.:faint:

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

tire changing are for those that were aiming for good timing type.

if it causal tracking...then subject to how u ride in de track lor.

in any case....as long u can buy/borrow min stuff needed for track.it good that u "try-out" 1st then decide lor.

For me newbie’s is a first timer or know nothing about track including rules in the pit and track. Maybe after 3 to 4 session than must change newbie to novice leh after that intermediate Novice and so on.

Mostly in this forum rider declare themselves newbie but actually they are not. Reason lay low profil or still learning but wait till the track day itself.

They will cut your lane either left or right during cornering. This make the real newbies scare and can’t improve much as their heart beat increase as to this type of incident.

There also a disavantage for the regular trackie as there are too many traffic that slow them down. As for some they like it.

It better to organize a session that are mainly for the newbie or regular, fast or slow learner. In this way rider will improve their skill and confident.

Play with your own size and you will know where is your weakness.

This is only my rusty ¼ cent worth for PG not for Sepang. With this I hope not to hurt anybody feeling…………

:sorry: :sorry: :sorry:

Any comment I accept with an open heart

PS: As for me, I’m worst than newbies cause first time ride 600cc bike

What Da Boss say is true. You know at most session at Sepang, it's become quite a routine for the organisers at Sepang to rotate the bikers. Let's say, the session is for 9-1pm the last time I went. 9-10am & 11am-12noon is for small bikes eg the Malaysian Cup-kias, 125-Z, RXZ, KR (all below 399cc). Then from 10-11am & 12nn-1pm is for those above the 400cc bikes. This is because most of them riding the class2 bikes feel it is not that enjoyable to have smaller bikers in the same sessions.

Forgive me but I do not intent to provoke any small bikes but this is what is happening there. And I think it's a better way, rather than to play 4 solid hours, but end up you don't learn anything much.

Not a gd idea. Even an experience rider in PG need some time to adapt to another bike, yes, even exact same model. They just feel different. And if u are a stranger to the track layout, it just make things worse.

New to track, new to track layout, new to bike, new to riding attire. Everything new and that's bad.

Just my opinions...I am still a noob.

Well, quite used to lending my bike to people at track for a few good rounds just to see what needs to be adjusted or added. But got deal one. If drop, come back claim from your insurance.

So, still need it?
