yeah was thinking of LAB/Regina too. at this point, i have to change my indicator, and i dun see the point of fixing the original one when just one side costs $60 whereas i can get a pair for less than that.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

thats great.

except i dropped my bike on the right side so its the right indicator thats smashed....

are the 2 sides interchangeable?

but a concern of mine is that the original indicators are sticking so far out that even with sliders installed, its gonna get smashed. the problem is not just the indicator making contact with the ground, but in my case the impact is carried to the base, cracking my fairing. this case the indicator indirectly caused my fairing to be damaged, and i suspect same thing would have happened even with slider. so my objective is to try to have the slider to be the main impact point. so i plan aftermarket indicators, even if not flushed, must not stick out further than slider, so even if contact the ground, the slider would have taken the brunt of the impact first.

and piangz how come the clip-on ended up bending instead of rotating inwards such that can simply re-adjust? i was recommended to instal motovation balancers/bar end protectors, but in my stationary drop, i dun see how it would have helped, coz its a direct impact onto the bar. mebbe in the case of moving fall, the clip-on would have rotated inwards, but not direct drop.

in any case, if the indicator interchangeable, how much u willing to sell me your indicator.....?

oppsss...sorry to hear that

wish ur bike a speedy recovery :cheeky:

btw for ur info, besides the common motovation sliders, regina carry the brand "puig" where their sliders come with a precise hole drilling kit.

i think the diameter of the slider is slightly smaller than motovation one, but it comes with diff colors that match ur bike...and it has the word "cbr" printed on it

go to puig web for more info...just to let u know the options avail...

my advise to u is don't install unknown slider which made locally!

(cox i hv a pair at home now!)

im not too sure but well...at regina...anything can happen, depending on how well u negotiate :cheeky:

i got my motovation sliders with installation at 65 bucks...but i have holes pre-drilled by looi's motor before....so im not sure if extra workmanship will be charged if my fairing is not drilled...

the predrilled holes r big...that's y i can't take puig sliders

otherwise, i think i would prefer the puig one

Hi bro.

For your info.

Get the balancer original one or

others BUT must be same weight.

Lost it before and put in a fancy one.

Regret due to hand feels numb at long distant ride.

Thanks

well yeah but the motovation slider also equally likely to get stolen as the puig. anything on the bike which can be easily removed and placed on any other model of bike is open to theft.

and the balancers, i believe that changing to different weight can indeed 'reduce vibration'. actually as long as the weight is changed, the highest vibration point shifts to another frequency. so its really dependant on the rider and the bike. changing the weight could mean the highest vibration comes on at cruising speed, which would be bad. or it could shift to a higher frequency, which would be good.

but "usb can fit" doesn mean software is compatible right?

just like computer components - any usb 'out' port can fit an 'in' port, doesn mean will work......
