Hikaru, was just telling Hock maybe you can try Biketech for the HRC part...

not to worry the design is not "beng" to me , only when it comes to clear up.... white is :faint: . Will check biketech out for the throttle . Thanks.

no problem. I recently found a source for hrc parts in the net . will check out which is one is cheaper . So you want to use the rc51 switch or the cbr 1k ones ? Both also need to rewire abit .

Actually what is this switch used for? Can you share to us?

hrc provided starter and off switch does not have the front brake light wiring connection . So you your brake light would lid up , when you use the front brake . By using a RC51 or cbr1k ones ( b'cos both type switches is separated from the throttle body ) and rewire to your bike then youwill have front brake light work.

The other way is to use hrc switch and add 2 wire to the brake light switch .

Just to add on, cbr1k start/stop switch is using a different connector from cbr600rr. I did the swap and for the sake of neatness and reliability, I bought new connectors to crimp onto the 1k start/stop switch. The connectors are ordered from overseas. I have 2 more spare sets so if anyone is interested pm me. Selling $10 per set. Includes male and female plugs and pins.

Ouh... So you're just looking for the switch? What about the fast throttle? Cos I've already asked Biketech 21 about just now.

:thumb:

this fast throttle, is it called the quick action throttle where your throttle has reduced rotation so u end up more throttle with less rotation? if yes, how much does it cost and is it easy to install?

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Biketech is selling about $400 for a complete set but Shah said he'll need to find out more info before ordering & will let you guys know if interested. The brand is ER Racing I think... He says the system works exactly the same as the HRC one...

Hope that info helps, Hock & Hik, please take note..

About 77USD for the kit exclusive freight.

Installation is PITA and not for the technically challenged. U need to get to your throttle body to replace the throttle cables. That would mean removal of the tank and airbox. U will also need to drill 2 additional holes in the right clip-on. 1 to position the 1krr start/stop switch. Another to position the throttle. The stock hole on the clip-on cannot be used.

But the result is :thumb:

simple clip. wondering if anybody knows of such a product for the RR sold here?

The clip type is unreliable(may unattach over time) and does not fit all bikes as the increased diameter of the throtle tube may bind against the throttle housing. Generally not recommended.

Today i had a problem with my rr'03. My bike could not be started and my Yuasa battery was just 5 months old. I was at Queensway Shopping Centre and i pushed my bike over to Southern. The mechanic charged the battery and later on they told me that my magnetic coil was faulty and it cost ard $270 to change a new magnetic coil. Not only that, they also said that maybe the battery was faulty and added up to around $300++ if i change both the battery and magnetic coil. As the price was too costly, therefore i didn't not change the coil and asked them to charge my battery full instead. But the mechanic told me that the battery only can last for afew days. How? Anybody can care to help and advice me what to do?
