i still haven figured out how to remove the rubberised thread from the windshield.

the two middle threads are easy enough; the rubber stopper is only at the front/top part, so just push from below and out it pops.

but the four corner threads have got rubber stoppers on both sides of the windshield. one of them i notice had a portion of it cut off, which i think was the guy who assembled my bike had problem trying to squeeze the thread into the windshield hole, so he sliced off a small portion to make squeezing a bit easier. want to put in already so difficult, now how to take out ah?

got sell anot these rubber screw threads? i think easier i buy six of these and try squeeze into the aftermarket shield. going by my technical record, i continue trying to squeeze out from my original windshield, i'm likely to break both my original shield and the rubber screw threads. then really cham ah, old shield cannot fix back, new one oso cannot attach.

but...it that simple leh.

not sure..which part u mention is hard. is it the stud on the windscreen? those black rubber with metal tread in it one? those just twist & turn + abit of pulling will come out liao leh.

as for the plastic screw...thats the hard part if it cross-tread liao.

other then that...dun see where it could go wrong...lolz :cheeky:

The owner moulded the whole fairing assembly to look like the 600RR.

yes this the part i tokking, but not as easy as you say leh.

at the top part is a flat rubber piece covering the hole to prevent the thread going downwards.

on the bottom part got another thicker rubber piece preventing it from going upwards.

its held in its place by rubber from both sides.

i ask one question: does yours all 6 rubber threads all the same?

or like mine, the two middle holes is one type, the four corners is a different type?

by default, the bike will come with mineral oil which MUST be changed after 1000km.

after that depends on personal preference. some ppl will insist use mineral oil again change at 2000km, mineral again and change again 3000km, thereafter use fully synth. i prefer follow manual, which is at 1000km straight away change fully synth and change every 6000km, though some change every 3000km. i haven had any probs, its personal beliefs, only the mineral change at 1000km is the compulsory.

none of us had any breakdown at all so far, except two of us with batt problems.

you got cash i recommend immediately change the tyres especially if its on dunlops. bt-014 still can use for road, but you plan PG, highly recommended to change.

after that, for mods the sky's the limit.

1) run in usual take how long need to change EO

some folks folow the rider manual of slow riding till 1000km then change EO.some folks ferry the bike to dyno machine and do hard run-in then change EO str.

*it subjective and up to perosnal perference.

2) most comman thing break down / comman stock thing need to change

Honda dont buld sussy sportbike(coe low power, low speed then other same CC class).things dont break by it self...unless it god will type la.

3) wat mod do u all usual change commanly

argee with Bro mechwira...sky's the limit and wallet is the factor.

forgot to mention, one of the rather 'necessary' mods is a pair of sliders drilled into the fairing. swingarm sliders too.

after all, dropping the bike for most people is a question of when and not if.
