Managed a test ride on my bud's CB6 '07 yesterday nite. I say, man..the power delivery is unbelievably superb. Close one eye can easily hit 180km/h at ecp. 3 day old bike only nia..And the brakes are good too.. Give the rider some more time, & he'd have a good fight with the R6 06. The last 5 lap race I went last month, Shah got first on his K5.2nd was Alvin on his R6'06. And third was someone riding the R1 04.Think the CB6'07 can be up there if the powers are being unleashed properly. Ah...finally...

i think its not bout whether your end can splits into 4-2 from the stock 4-2-1, but whether the end can itself is road-legal. and the particular model in your pic looks very obviously 'track-only'. however i have seen (on the internet, not our road) similar 4-2 systems where the double end cans look more conventional road-legal cans rather than gp-style like your pic. the qn that remains therefore is: 1) do distributors bring these other models into here, and 2) will LTA approve these cans. so far as i see it, the answer to qn 1 is 'no' or perhaps 'not yet', so qn 2 cant be answered yet until the distributors try bringing them in.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

That end can is an a full system Arrow & is street legal. Few of our 1000rr brothers are using it. The sound is like a motor-boat, damn loud. You can order it from Shah. I think cost about 2.8K. :faint:

there is no "fix-rule" on model change.the only variable factor is "income".of course, been a HONDA.......RR7 & RR8 are expected to be "almost" same while RR9 will see "some" upgrade stuff....hopefully a SLIPPER clutch.BUT knowing HONDA again....it will be damn hard to convince HONDA to include a slipper clutch since the "wear rate" is high plus it lag the "engine brake" feel which HONDA is quite concern in term of "rider feeling".

so...UNLESS CBR1000RR8 comes equip with a slipper clutch....it aint going to see any of that in de 600RR8 or RR9 liao.

but having say that much...i still believe that even the current RR's limit aint a easy pie for most rider out there to MAX it.....(including me).:cheeky:

agreed, but since 2003 honda, suzuki and kawasaki have been pretty consistent with their pattern. only yamaha seem to break pattern occasionally.

Ultimately motorcycle development teams still need to consider the cost factor & whether it is able to sell in the market.

Y dun u get 1 too?

=P

My current RR4 is left with 7K only nia.. I wouldn't wanna have to fork out another 15K just to get a powderful bike. Furthermore I'm using trade insurance so I can practically ride any bikes I like.

Honda still making $$ from old tech design so no concern to change

suzuki sticking to their "winning 1000 K series" formula so no change

kawa is searching for the "winning formula" so no $$ to change

Yammie is making "technology into model" which result in $$ made.

from de above,it not hard to see who offer reliable product while who offer New tech design & who is lagging the boot behind.:cheeky:

*above are just personal opinion.

Yes 04 model. Only if you work under the motorcycle trade, your towkay will most probably give you this special insurance. Cheap only nia, only $200++ per year. I've brought home & tested a couple of superbikes during my reign with the motorshops before. :thumb:
