Bro I really can't comment on that...I cannot open throttle till 5-6k Rpm if not I sure in trouble unless no TP...hee hee

Try to change EO as soon as you reach 100km then change once every 500m during the run in period ba..

Tomolo confirm more than 100km liao... Gonna go change mineral oil and filter... Than after that, change every 500km loh... Till 2000km liao than can put FULLY SYN liao... ESSO GOLD...

Coz i cannot squeeze the throttle!!!! Oni can maintain 5-6rpm.... Very sianz ah... See those kup kias zoom pass me... Haha...

Btw, Maman, or any other pple here who just got the CBR600 07'.... Can i ask if the user manual has english version?? Mine doesn't...

His bike was parallel import...the bike shop didn't take the bike from Boon Siew...guess his bike is from Europe...

Hi there... I suspect mine is parallel import... I went thru my manual alot of times already... Even my friend went thru it... There's no english version of it...

 

May i ask? Have u bought the '07 CBR 600?? If yes, pls, can i borrow urs and make a copy for myself?

 

N meanwhile, could u let me noe the basics of what i need to noe? For eg, what warming up bike, what is the temp that means that bike is ready to go?

 

N for the 1st 800 or 1000km, what rpm is advise for us to ride in for running in?

 

Pls, asap, get back to me... Can pm me too... Thx alot alot alot... :(

 

Even better if i can get it online, i've been trying to search for it for a few hours already, but couldn't find anythin... If u noe the web for it, pls let me noe too... Thx again...

Bro I will help you with as much as I can...

 

Although our bike CC different but I guess everything else still works the same...

This is what I got from my manual...

 

RUNNING-IN

Help assure your motorcycle's future reliability and performance

by paying extra attention to how you ride during the first 500KM

During this period, avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration.

 

It doesn't says anything about warming up in my manual...but I normally warm it up till 50c before I slowly ride out of my MSCP...

Well, i always warm up to 65c before i move off... Advise by a friend riding R6 06 coz his manual says so... I noe its different coz ours is Honda and his is Yamaha... But still, i follow his advise...

 

Hmmm... Can i ask? U say in ur manual, it says that for the 1st 500km, avoid full throttle start and rapid acceleration.

 

Did it say anythin about not riding more than how much rpm? N only for the 1st 500km? What about after 500km?

or some joker itchy sit on the bike as i seldom ride now days.

Free parking for so long also people disturb :angry:

Any brothers here interested to get EBC pads? We could get it cheaper if buy in bulk.. But i dunno how cheap.. :confused: ahahha

 

Why not MO other pads? There are lots of better pads around. EBC is overrated.
