davin - i just realise that my tires also going off soon. Just ask my mach cosa 3 is $450 leh.. then i though of M3 but price is abt $400 too damn ex ah...

 

ultra - single seater is mainly just for show, if want just get from ebay. Less than 50bucks u shld it 1 that make in china. ( but color is standard solid color)

Hi SnOw_MaN, i saw those on ebay all solid colors. i need something thats pearl white at the sides and top, then matching blue for the side facing the front (headache:sian:)

 

haiz, maybe get a pearl white 1 then bring to shop paint the 1 side blue.

Rather u get BT003RS over DC3...Trust me...The feel on 003RS is much better than DC3 although the DC3 is quite comfy on the wets..

 

For my own, i've been thru the following set of 70% road & 30% track tyres..Listed accordingly to preference..

 

1) Bridgestone BT003RS

2) Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3

3) Michelin Pilot Power

4) Michelin Pilot Power 2CT

5) Bridgestone BT014

 

On why i rate PP over it's 2CT predecessor, i do feel more confident on the normal PP than the 2CT version.

Michelin Power Pure

Pirelli Diablo Rosso

 

Dont follow Davin to change to SCII or K2 cos his bike = more for track so tyres wise ok..Wont be wasted on local roads..

Michellin Pilot Road 2 if u r not a track person.

 

Been using it for like 20000km, centre still good... Worth ur money...

Not bad during wet weathers too...

MC28 is right...don't use tyres that are tooooo good in the sense since it is to be used on the road...there are road tyres for everyday commuting and are cheaper...unless you don't mind to pay more that is...

 

If you want a cheap grab I think Metzeler M1 will be a good choice...$350(For my bike) at Tachyon Motor...600CC could be cheaper...

You really need a knock on your head Snow_man...you had been using bt03 all along and you yourself knows the performance best no need headache about all the reviews unless the statics that had been reviewed seriously affects you...but if it doesn't bother you then stick to it la...aiyo

 

If you don't mind the brand there are cheaper ones...but beware of the quaility...

Price wise the last i change was $420...That was last Sept...So far it works for me on the road and on the track...In fact on the track, a couple of friends i know who aint that aggressive yet are quite comfortable on it..

 

On the road wise be it wet or dry, yet to have a moment on it as well..But of cos given any tyres on wet weather, gonna be careful.

davin - i have not use bt03 before. I used bt tires on all my pervious bike before.

mc28 - hmmm... still in considering on wat to get, well cfm not heading thread in another 1yr so wanna get something good on the road. i know last time ppl recommand alot on m1 (a few of my cbr fren using) but now so many upmarket tires so dunno leh.. I try to work out my budget and see how la..

ps, hasn't really been active in sbf. any local gatherings coming up? would love to meet up for supper or kopi sessions.

wow.. cool another unique bike... what model u riding, izzit a 08model? i think i saw ur bike at downtown east before. Sometime back early this yr. Well ya u shld come out to have coffee with us, i will hold another big outing again... soon. FYI those solid color u found in ebay (china product) dont really give a 100% same color as ur bike so be prepare.

Is it higher the better or lower the better?

Also,e.g. $200(consider LOW),does that mean when renewal of 10 years COE it will be $200?
