unless u become a dealer with them... there's no way to get them ourselves..

you really should get yourself a leather suit...mesh jacket are more for road riding bro...don't take this type of risk using that jacket on the track...

Ah...this impression is not quite right...

 

Exhaust with and without sliencer performs very differently...when the exhaust is without the sliencer/baffler the exit is bigger thus air flow is much easier...the sliencer/baffler will restrict air flow out of the exhaust thus suppressing noise and restricting performance...

 

To let the bike work without the sliencer/baffler you will have to send your bike for a tuning job...and after that you will find that you hate the sliencer...hee hee...

 

bro.. i take out my silencer.. but i nvr send for tuning.. my mech sae no nid.. bkoz i tink a lil logic la koz take out no restriction so no nd 4 tuning.. if gt diff also not much.. my tinking la only..

My advise if you guys are new to the Track dun go on Trackday. Too many bikes will make u lost focus especially at PG but u guys planned just becareful.

in sg... brand new coils costs 200+ w/o labour....

300+ include labour coz u still need to drain ur eo out etc...

 

if u want... u go online n learn how to rewind the coil itself..

using the specific wires, the no, of rounds, clockwise & anti clockwise.. the patterns...

 

but be warned... alot of ppl tried n given up becoz after they rewind themselves, the coil burnt up less than a day.. lol

 

in sg seldom ppl help to rewind coil coz no warranty can be given..

 

onlt if its as simple as a tamiya hyperdash motor.

 

u contact mah if u wan lo..

i juz called last wk....

they quoted 200+ minimum..

n i tink their labour charges not very cheap...

 

bringing my bike down soon for coil changing under the extended warranty for the recall

Rewinding the coil will give it a new life...It is a cheaper way out...

My plan is to have my coil rewinded...then get a new coil as spare...

 

Heard from a fren of mine that replacing the coil with a Blackbird coil will work & much much better than a RR coil. How true it is i do not know but worth to check it out if it really saves on the sweat everytime we ride out...

It is a good idea to do so...that is provided if you can afford it...

 

I am using my OEM fairing for track...and I had dropped it twice at turn 9...heart very painful my right side fairing was moderately scratched...sending it for respray wouldn't restore the orginal repsol paint work to 100%...and to get it replaced cost 1k plus...

 

If you go to the track you would find that potential trackers will use race fairing for 2 reasons...1) it is lighter in weight & 2) to save your OEM fairing from damages in case of a crash...

ya i agree.. these are the 2 reasons why im contemplating to get the race fairing as well.. since im going to track with the bike anw.. HKL is selling a china made race fairing at 1350... inclusive of labor and race colours paintwork.. the paintwork is very nice and well done.. but the faring abit on the harder side.. is it meant to be like that? i felt others and they are more flexible and soft..

I replaced my rectifier and problem seems to be solved...so relieve for the outcome...but my coil looks like slightly over cooked so must faster get a spare coil liao...currently can ride...when you want to go eat? I only go Kulai nia...other places are very dangerous leh...

Bro...you got to understand that there are 3 different types of Race fairings in the market:

China made race fiairng can be any 1 of the 3 mentioned...

Which one suits you depend fully on your budget my friend...for a beginner I would choose the cheapest of all cause crashing is sometimes not predictable on the track and how many times before you start to get the hang of it is still an issue even very fast and experienced riders have chaces of crashing...you can get a race fairing meant after it is damaged but still it depends on how badly the damage is...
