Hello guys, I just gotten my 2012 cbr 600rr with abs! Very excited. Where is a good place to shop for accessories? Lets start with a good mod to alleviate a numbing butt and sore nuts... Invest in a good seat? Want one that doesn't slip n a$$ friendly. Any local store I can patronise? Saw one brand call Corbin.... But not local leh.

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate. I can flat foot the Tarmac so height is ok for me, but buying something oversea n having them shipped over is not my thing.... would give our local guys the "dunno what condom" for the seat a try.

Got the bike at 24k brand new from Mah's motor. Only unit left.

1st tank clocks ~250km at sleep inducing 5k rpm change.

 

Seems to have warm start issue.... Anyone experience this? Temp at around 95-108 ish gives me problem starting. It just crank and crank but doesn't start. Starter issue?

jus wan to check if anyone face such problem... a fren of mine got into accident with a taxi and is a small one.. jus jam brake and fren bike drop and taxi butt got abit dent.. as usually both of them claim each other.. so this took abt 6mth and finally the result is out..

 

meanwhile my fren send his bike to do repair and repair claim from the taxi and during that moment of repair he try to cut down on the repair fee in case he cant claim 100% from the taxi... so the bikeshop person tell him say ok and etc.. no problem and etc..

 

than finally 6mth later the insurance / law film call him and tell him that the taxi only will to pay 50% of the repair cost.. when he ask how much was put to claim from the bikeshop they say is abt 3-4k which at that moment of repair the bikeshop person tell him is less than 1k.

 

So he ask law film how much he need to top up bikeshop... he say abt $800 - 1k.. than he call bikeshop.. he say ya correct lor.. he still need to pay bikeshop abt the above amount. So.. do you think the bikeshop trying to earn extra from my fren.

 

The shop reported a bigger repair amount to the insurance company to earn.

crank problem - battery weak or the start button faulty

If you start your bike in morning, the temperature is 35 ma.

At "95-108 degrees Celsius", one of the likely scenarios - ride for 10-15 mins, stop at petrol station, pump petrol, pay at counter, come out and have difficulty starting. Cold start has never been a problem, hence the stated "warm start issue" cranking sound can be heard, so start button is eliminated, leaving 2 suspects, 1 battery, starter is the other. Will probably pay boon Siew a visit during my coming servicing.

I understand that vibrations are common and can be felt especially at the handlebar at higher rev. Question for the cbr 600rr pros here is ; besides the vibration, is it also known to feel pulsating ticks at the handle bar, during speed of 80km n above?
