The active ingredient in aerosol canned chain lube ae just gear oil. The rest are just propellant. The aerosol can gives convenience but only a small amount of lubricant. So if you want most bang for buck, go get gear oil say 80W from any of the name brand. It cost about $5~$8 for a litre - all lube. And this can last you for ages.

forgot the brand, its a white bottle with red printing over it, right side of the counter in LAB and btm of the shelf :) good luck have fun

SP carrefour sell cheap motorcycle EO, i think ever saw $4~5/btl.

r u using this with diy chain oiler like scottoiler??

use EO to lub chain is pointless unless u r using chain-oiler.

it will fling off immediately when u ride.

it is better to use PJ1 blue cap chain lub.

sp carrefour = plaza singapura.

chain oiler is a device tat drip oil onto the chain as u ride.

market brand is scott oiler, it is expensive.

there is a diy chain oiler,

do a search u can find it somewhere in sbf.

I swear by Maxima Chain Wax. IF used as directed and not sprayed in excess, the fling-factor is near ZERO. And it does its job well. Just the smell is a little funky.

it's Total 20w50 Fully Syn (it claims fully syn) $6.00

now PS Carrefour no stock again. Too hot off the shelves. I just bought 6 bottles from Suntec Carrefour.

by far the smoothest engine oil i've used on my Pulsar 180. And thickest.

Total is the parent company of Elf Lubricants, the french corporation is also 1 of top 6 oil companies in the world.
