Hi guys,

Couldn't start my bike today after work..

there is headlight but i jus can't start the engine..

Could it be the spark plug problem or idling one?

You will need to provide more information before a more accurate diagnosis can be executed

- Is there any cranking sound?

- Is the immobiliser light blinking when the ignition key is switched on? (I think the X8 should have this light too)

- Is the brake-light on when you depressed the brake lever?

:goodluck:

yeah, there is the cranking sound but after some more attempts to revive the engine, no more sound is produced.

brake-light ar - never check... hee :giddy:

Bro, if my batt has gone flat, wouldn't there be no headlights?

Not totally flat, but not enough voltage to start up. Maybe you wanna use multi-meter to test the voltage when switch on.

So you mean your bike now at PSC

If you do not have the headlight switch, remember to start up imediately when you switch on. If not, dun turn on the ign. first

Yes...headlight switch is very important....

I try to start my bike till the whole batt die off...

All the way, bro!

So what was your diagnosis for your bike that time?

Batt voltage not high enough?

bros,

i have never ride my bike such a long distance to KL (350km++) before...

So i'm abit worried if our x8 would be able to go such a long distance in one day.

Will the wind be a major factor? do we need to break every hour.... etc??

Some more my gf will be with me too.. so abit concerned.

Any preparations beforehand?

Those bros out here who have been to long journeys before can share your experiences with me?

Appreciate your time..
