guys, is there any difference if we service it @ PSC or other shops like kenny's etc? just asking cos my first 3 service up sometime ago and now my mileage is 8K plus. the guy @ PSC said when my bike reach 12K i need to change the belt which would cost around 200 plus.

any feedback people?

Its juz a matter of preference I suppose. The problem with sending to PSC is you have to make an appointment and its only during office hour. For me is quite inconvennient. As long as you go to a trustworthy workshop should be ok.

But there some problem with it. just tiny problem. don't like the side stand...... you should know why.............................bike wobble when moving off. is it the bike or just me. not very stable when moving off. i guess i not use to the bike yet.............. i'm 1.79m and i find the bike too high for me.

Hi Gabanna,

Congrats on your new bike, regarding the wobbling, maybe you should warm up your bike for a while before moving off. I also encounter this last time, cos I straight away drove off after starting the bike. Another reason may be the tuning, you can ask PSC to tune for you. I also admit X8 seat is abit high, but no choice once you love the bike....nothing will stop you from riding... :lovestruck: FYI I am only 1.67, so I largi find the seat much higher....but 1 piece of advice, please ride carefully.

H Gab,

I also just runned in my first 1000km. After the first run in I find that the bike is more quiet. And after going to Kenny's shop, my bike can start without having to throttle. Kenny's shop can do "miracles". :cheeky:

Why not install a tachometer to make sure you dun throttle too much when you are running in? Just a suggestion.

Next time got money, I intend to install the voltmeter and the water temperature on the dash board with my existing tachometer, wah 3 meters all together, should look very fierce sia. hahaha machiam racing car.

You say bike wobble when starting off, have to ask Disar , he said last time his tyres not correct very wobble too. Better check with him.

Cheers

hi

today at my 175km milage and "still" running in at 50km/h.

i already experience starting the bike with having to throttle. think i can go kenny's shop to get some "miracles"?

If really can, will go to kenny's shop first thing i wake up.

How much did u spend for the tachometer? how much will the voltmeter cost? Did you fix at Kenny's?

Why fix the water temperature when you have the coolant temperature guage? Is it the same?

I'm sure it will look very very fierce if you have 3 meters on the dash board. Sure to kill.

Hi Gab,

I presently only have done these few things to my bike. Tachometer, white pilot lights, white high beam, and the ERP card reminder.

The Tachometer is $140. Tachometer is to show your your engine's RPM. I really cannot stand driving or riding without an RPM lor. That is why I made the RPM first.

Water temperature is only for show lor, as you said the coolant meter is already there. Water temperature is just to see exactly how hot is the water mar.

I did all my modifications all at Kenny's. Very nice guy. And all the mechanics there also very friendly guys.

About your wobbling, if you dun want to pay why not go back to PSC and ask them.

:cheer:

Don't worry as day goes by you get used to the bike. The wobbling thing will come and go. Just remember if the temperature is low don't drag the engine as this will cause it to wobble. The normal temperature reading as you ride shld be arnd half.
