Hi Disar,

 

Saw in one of the post that you mention KL as a trip in Dec. Actually, matchbox9 and myself are keen to go on a trip as well but felt that the distance is a bit too much for our new X8s.

 

May be we can organize a 1 day Kukup Seafood excursion, Malacca trip, Yong Peng, etc. The 2 Day 1 Night sort lah. For such excusions, I would be quite keen to come along during a weekend.

I tot this Sunday got an outing to Kulai? Maybe we can plan a trip in the early part of Dec? So as not to clash with the Cameron Trip. Malacca sounds good Kenny care to comment?

Ya i would be interested to go for short 1 day trip into malaysia. As exams (dec 5,6 & 7) is nearing soon cant afford to go for long trip. Would prefer a 1 day tour

can get to know more about the bike and make more friends

ya. Last week of Nov & Dec seems better. My schedule for Nov is quite bad and furthermore, I don't think my bike would be runned-in by this week. For Malaysia, I haven't drove or rode in for years already. Need someone who knows the roads to bring this blur rider in.

 

I can't go Kulai this weekend coz, 1. Bike not run-in and can't keep up with the rest of the pack. 2. too rush for me also. My entire Sat is packed and Sunday afternoon booked already. By the way how far is Kulai from the woodlands check-point?

 

Just get someone to arrange in December and I will try my best to go...but short leisure trip pls coz I'm not a fast rider and the type that likes to take my time...

I cant go for the trip this weekend. Got Hari Raya visiting to do. I was thinking of 10 December. Matchbox9 would have finished exams and we can have some time for planning. We can ask Kenny for advice then post it in under outing so more ppl can join. I was thinking Malacca. How?

Where did you stay in Malacca previously? I think if we intend to go, we have to find a hotel that is safe to accomodate our bikes. Been to Malacca thrice and stayed at Equatorial and Century Makota previously. I must say that Equatorial .

I went to Malacca for a day trip tat time. So didnt stay anywhere. Equatorial sounds good to me. For me anything goes. We should do some ground work first then we can meet up and discuss.

fix volt meter and and alarm is not really that hard mah.. you can diy yourself if you want.

Hi X8ers,

 

Just wanted to check with all of you as I am new to riding bikes on automatic transmission. When I hit 1000km or 1st service, do I change to mineral oil or fully synthetic?

 

I mean I would change to mineral oil for the normal bikes for my 1st servicing and then to fully stnhetic for the ones onwards..But then its auto transmission and I don't know if this should be different.

 

Someone pls advise...?
