Hi Marcus, sorry for the late reply as we were at a X8 meet up just now. I think u shld talk to Tbteng aka Andy as he bought his X8 from Albert too. His mobile is 98159984. If its 7800 with insurance and IU tat I tink its a good bargain.

Yup, from what i read from your earlier thread is it true that the seat for x8 is very high . i am only abt 1.7m.

 

And also a few other things to consult, i have a fiamm horn with me now but can remove it and fixed it on my x8. Anyone know how much is the labour charges. any place to recommend.

Its high but not very. If u compare it with phantom then its a great difference. But in time u will get used to the height.

I think u can transfer ur fiamm horn to the X8. wen the time comes u 1 2 fix it juz sms or pm me and i will tell u who can help.

I wasn't able to get my x8 on sat, due to rain.

I am going for my x8 tomorrow, hopefully can get it by this week...

likely to get the bike shop to shift my fiamm horn onto the new bike.

 

Just another question, i read that many fixed on a additional light switch, an other items like voltmeter, does additions like this void the warranty by PSC. How about the horn?

hey marcusdeming, i went to Albert last saturday too.....ya it's raining. But they quote me 7800 is exclude insurance. If include insurance is 8300. But i dun know it's Grade A or B insurance. Hup Hin quote me roughly 8600 include grade A insurance. So how? I plan to ask AS Phoon. I really newbies in scooter.

By the way my height is only 158cm. Worry there is a problem for me for riding x8.

I was given 7800 including insurance and IU

I think the minimum to get is 2nd party with fire and theft. Try asking around to get the best deal. The actual price will be different as it depends on the price of insurance.

 

Babylone, I suggest you should go down to PSC to test ride the X8 in case you are afraid the seat is too high. I have seen someone arnd your height riding an X8 before. Its the technique of riding

 

Hope the 2 of you get X8 so that the willl be more X8 in the future gathering.

It can be quite a prob these days. Juz don 1 2 invite trouble or get into trouble

thanks for your advise disar. But i've no time going to PSC for test drive, cause they close at 5:50pm rite? I'm still working. Eventhough on saturday, I did call them, no body answer.

Hey babylone, PSC only open on alternate Saturday. I guess the best is to go to the bike shop to sit on it.

This weekend is bad for me. At most maybe Friday (2 Dec) evening. Sat & Sun this week is out for me coz I need to bring my bike for 1k servicing. And Sunday already have something on.
