Hehehe......hey guys....long time no see. My work damn busy leh, but nvm i've resigned already and found a new job should be starting in two weeks time. Rest for two weeks first.

 

The main thing is "I JUST BOUGHT A NEW X8 LEH" no color can choose liao, actually i like the gold one.....but piaggio only left blue in color. So, bobian. I ordered a BLUE x8..........haiz. IS it nice? Cause i never seen a blue one leh. Any comment?

You can check out the piaggio site, they have the colour there... overall not bad colour too. When u getting it huh??? from where u got it from

Congratulations on your new X8 babylone :cheer: Welcome to the X8 cafe hope you enjoy ur X8 juz like me and the others has. I shld say Blue X8 is nice but very rare. So you gonna be the rare one :smile: Most of us ride the black ones.

 

Maybe you would like to elaborate more as where you get it and how much so newbies who would like to get a new X8 has a rough figure :smile:

I've check ler....Gold color have to wait until mid of Feb. So, no choice i took blue. I bought it from BHH. By the way, is blue color nice? I really never seen it before.

 

One question, may i know where can modify the seat? It's too high for me, i need to find someone who know to motify the seat lower a bit for me. I'm only 159

Im not sure abt that, but if u read the earlier post in this thread there is a rider who did that, so might wanna to check it out :smile:

You can try Eugene Saddlery

200-1, Syed Alwi Road (opp Jalan Besar Plaza, the one with McDonald's)

 

I also asked him to mod my X9 Amalfi seat and also rewrap the leather. Cost depends on the leather you choose and how you want to 'mod' your seat (mine cost me 70 bucks if I can remember correctly. The leather I chose was better one ).. actually nothing much to be done:

 

1) He strip out my old seat leather (don't know if could have reused)

2) you will see the foam... he then shaved off the foam to make it lower.

3) He fixed on the new leather. that's about it.

 

Cannot shave until hit metal, but really made a lot of difference. I oso very short (1.66m) so felt better after the seat shaving.

 

Call him at 62933613.

 

You can also try 219 (Lavender street I think). Or a place near Lim Ah Boy's shop at Kelantan Lane, hear this place much cheaper but always crowded. Like Disar said earlier, you can read through this thread for some more details.

Looks interesting but the coming weeks are quite bad for me even on weekends.
