Why would you want to do that? Just be more careful lor, don't ride too fast and try to turn tight corners fast and you should be quite ok. Slow down during wet weather. Always keep your eyes on the road.

Better tyes of course offers better grip but becoz they are new, they will be more of less the same. Tyres need to run in also leh...and before they run-in, they are just as slippery regardless of brand. The grip comes in gradually as they become more seasoned.

Me, I am 60km/hr - 70km/hr rider. Expressway=80km/hr to 90km/hr max. You will always find me at the extreme left lane most of the time. Taking my time to reach my destinations. No hurry lah, enjoy the ride and enjoy the wind. I personally feel that X8 rides best between 65-90km/hr.

Above 90km/hr = Speeding = Stress ! :giddy:

97 to 98 - Yamaha TW200

98 to 99 - Kawasaki Vulcan 400

99 to 00 - Honda ST1100

01 to 05 - Engine Stall

05 to ?? - Piaggio X8 200

Hey Babylone, its up to you. Wen I first got my scoot the stock tyres is from Slovakia and its slippery like hell. Before got the chance to change it, it got disfigured on the way to work then went to the nearest bike shop and all they have was Dunlop. It works at first but after awhile slippery again. On rainy days if ride on the white strips on the road can feel it. So change to Michelin after that no more prob

Yup true they need to run in but to expedite the running in all you have to do is give it a nice scrub with a brush and water to clear the top layer off and u are good to go

But there is a difference between different brands
