What the Thais usually do is to match the entire CBR150 Head/Block to the existing Sonic gearbox. 2nd stuff are easily available in bangkok. They have big 2nd stuff shop selling all kind of parts.

I've seen 1 souped up Sonic here in SG that had the cbr150 twin cam setting.. and goddemn its freaking huge compared to our ori block/head. Had a talk with the owner, and he said spent at least 3k to do up his bike in a 'proper' manner..

 

Well the end result? He said his bike can outrun a 'fully souped-up' gi*era ru*ner in terms of pickup & topspeed~ Dunno true anot~

I believe it could outrun even Raider150 with proper carb setting. Met a owner in bangkok with the spec as mention, was told that it can easily touch 180kmh if you have the balls big enuf to try out that speed. 3k for such a mod..is way too costly..

wow. 3k can buy 2nd hand sport bike liao. don't think it will be worth mod-ing. is there any minor mod to increase the pick-up???

Yeap, owner must been a sonic 'fanatic' to be willing to spend that much..

Well I guessed he meant the 3k was inclusive with other parts tht he fixed..

But I wonder how the engine sounds at tht kind of speed..
