I cannot remember how much I got it for, but whole set. Stock and brand new, wasn't that expensive I remember. Plus, it was quite hard to find too. So I just settled for it. =)

Anyways juz now i tried sitting on a friend's raider 150 n it felt much heavier than sonic.

I asked the fren to sit on my bike n hd agreed that its lighter.

That make me very happy to know. Hehe.

Dunno. I guess its smiliar. For Raider there's a slight surge of power once rpm goes past 6.5k rpm to 10k rpm. Quite similar to the 125z. When compared to CBr150, i think cbr sure be slightly faster coz the Raider's engine is a de-tuned version of the same engine used in the Suzuki FR150. Raider is tuned for fuel economy and it has a smaller carb than the FR150. Thus, FR150 has about 20bhp whereas Raider has only 16bhp. But FR150's fuel economy is worse than Raider's.

 

Being a cub, i guess we have to appreciate the good balance the way our engine is tuned. It is, after all, not a race bike but a CUTE CUB that goes fast too! ; )

What's Sonic's weight? My Raider is about 95kg. But i agree that its not the lightest. Those M'sia Honda Cub is so much lighter! i tried lifting one the other day and it was definitely lighter than my Raider!

Maybe Honda XR 125? Haha. I'm quite short though, standing at 155cm. :/

But I think I can do it, just needs a bit of getting used to! And need finances too.

it was my fault that i trusted him without any doubt even tho the exhaust sound was clearly louder than most cubs.

 

ive got to pass my inspection and renew my roadtax by 9/2. i'm now in army and rarely have the chance to book out.

 

i need to get a legal/original pipe asap so i can get my inspection done and roadtax renewed.

 

im wondering if there'd be any kind soul who might be able to lend me their pipe for a while?

i recce-ed from the shop just below my house that a new original pipe costs around ~300.

 

pm me for my contact if you think you could offer any help.. would really appreciate man.

Hi, how you compared with other Sonic to hear if your pipe is loud? The reason i asked is because i had been told that my Raider's exhaust was unusally sporty & loud by my mechanic & he suspected its a modified pipe although the muffler's description shows that it's original. So i did my comparison with other Raiders and then went ahead for the LTA inspection. Lo & Behold, passed! So, concluded that the original exhaust is really sportily loud!

 

Btw, my workshop quoted me about $80+ for a new muffler only. So don't get conned by yours asking $300+!

Hi guys, just bought a Honda Nice 125. The shape is exactly the same as the sonic, just the my rear shock is x2, not mono. Anyone riding something like this in SGP? just wondering. Btw, the engine is the same as wave125s....
