I tink normal la...the speed will be plus minus around there,I tink the biggest factor that affects Rpm to speed are the sprockets. i dont tink there are problems with ur bike...

There is nothing wrong with your S4, at 5k rpm it is 80km/hr and at 6k rpm it is 95km/hr. I always ride at 6k rpm to aviod V-tec to save petrol. Btw i am riding S4 spec III

the rpm n speed range can varies due to the diff sprocket size used. but overall, its normal for S4 travelling at 100km/h at 6.3k rpm.

do take note that insufficient tyre pressure, dry n dirty chain or worn sprockets may affect the speed n rpm range.

Hi, I'm riding spec II.

Top gear: 4K - 70Km/h

Top gear: 5.4K RPM - 90Km/h

Top gear: 6K RPM - 100Km/h

Top gear: 110Km/h under 7K RPM

I tried 2 'clock' speed wif my friends, apprently, itz the same 4 them, both Spec I n II. All using original spocket.

Top RPM wifout open VTEC iz 6.2K RPM 4 me. As 4 the power band, i feel iz ard 90-100Km/h or 5-6k RPM 4 my bike. Can feel the power... My friend sayz 8.5K RPM iz the max torque. But i dun like 2 change gear there, cos smtimes can feel the VTEC open n close when u dun handle the RPM drop well... So the power band i mentioned happens 2 b the sweet spot 4 my bike. But this also depends on the rider i guess....

ppl say rpm will differ but i don see any. instead consumption goes up cos pick up need to open more.
