My wave come with

*BIgger Carb (MIKUNI 125cc) &

*Open pod filter.

Fuel consumption is abt 40km/hr

 

B4 overhaul,

- bike no power @ all... can only hit 80km/hr...

- got white smoke

 

After Ovehaul,

*Air filter taken out, NO Air filter now!!

+ 3rd can hit 80km/hr, but when switch to 4th gear power cut, din really rave as mechanic say RUN IN period stay below 80km/hr

- FC drop tremendously, travel 20 km, fuwl guage left 3/4, travel another 30km, fuel left 1/4.

- Still got alot of white smoke. --- Mechanic say is those left over b4 d overhaul, but i travel abt 100km, still got lei????

dun sound right to me :giddy: ... i ever overhouled my cub before too... yes.. white smoke come out but jus for awhile... after the left over burned out no more white smoke...

did u notice your engine oil keep reducing after while, check and take note this, maybe they never put the rings properly/broke the ring... engine oil leak into combustion chamber..... also did u mix 2T with your petrol? some people recommend this to improve the fuel burning hence smooth ride...

Take out air filter? Wah lau eh. Die la like dat. :faint: Some more BIG carburator? Wah Petrol oso big u know my fren? :cheeky: The best is still stock. Put in back the original air filter and original carburator then u will save on petrol.

I noticed d engine oil did reduced, i juz add abt 200ml yesterday...

 

i did not mix 2t with petrol, any idea watz d proportion of 2t & petrol...

 

tink got to go back to d shop again liao, but i only done 100km lei...

I wanted to put back d original carb but i dun ve, any idea how much is a new one?

 

Juz put back d air filter, hope it helps on FC...

confirm they never do properly lah.. bring back to them explain that white smoke and oil engine reduce in pass few days... whre u do your bike.... they so anyhow only ah? since you jus clock below 100km they shud have warranty over their job... get them to fix it free man :smile:

I second u. Go back to the same shop. If u still not happy with the shop then i think u find other mechanic. Dat is what i don like abt Singapore mechanics mostly talk big only. When do then got problem. As for me i always bring to Johor for my engine problems..... :goodluck: fren.

i did it in JB... haiz... its a recommended shop in SGbikes, end up, i felt i being chopped...

 

btw, which shop u patronize?

I know how u felt. U feel angry and sad. As for me i don wan to make the shop name bad la ok. This one my experience. I got go to the same shop 5X times! Mind u. Still the same problem occurs. Then i feel what the fxxx. Free also no use. At last i bring to my regular mechanic to Johor. He solve for me! Voila till now no problem la bro. Till now i don trust singapore mechanics anymore. if i not worng... the piston crack liao... i ever got this problem... when to change... u better hurry... i ride until the bike cannot move... den regarding ur FC... ask them to tune down the fuel intake got u... if u want can go malaysia do... but is better u know the people there... if not sure kena CHOP upside down de..

goodluck... after i service... my bike can hit 130km/h... haha...

i juz sent my bike back to d shop & check yesterday nite, as d shop is too busy, i left my bike overnite, tonite then can collect...

 

haiz... hope tinks will improve & they won't charge mi anymore...

yeah... something like tat... haha... u put overnight... u better check properly... becoz they might "steal" some parts. or chnage ur parts with an even bad part... so do hope for the best...

hi,my bike is not as stable as before,normally when i free hand it wil go straight,now when i let go of my handle bar,it shakes violently,brought to motor tiam,cone bearing done,the mechanic says its y box,is this true or is there other problem that need to be rectified?your advice would be greatly appreciated.:help:

1 is too much and a 1000 is never enuf

sometimes, is the front tire problem.. the tire used changes its alightment when it is moving. on a brand new tire, the handle wont be as shaky as b4...

Dat is because your FRONT tyre has WARP! Become like high low high low. The tyre not even and it is dangerous for riding. If your tyre is WARP already pls do change at the earliest chance before you fall down or skidded. :goodluck:
