length of the shocks are made in designed in a way that durability, comfort and handling are not compromised. by changing to a longer shock, you risk upsetting all of it.

 

like you said, you are a heavy weight rider. stock springs are meant for average weight riders, ranging from 60-90kg. any heavier than that, it's time to change the springs and oil weight in the suspension to suit your weight.

 

basing on your posts, you are running on stock springs on the showa, and i believed the springs are over-compressed and they are non-effective already.

 

i have suggested to you that it would be better for you to just have a change of springs and stick to the original showa, throw in a service for the shock for a fresh change of heavier oil weight, and it will last you for at least 2-3years if you take care of it.

 

it beats getting some cheap suspension anytime.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

i got my Gazi rear shocks @ 250 at Wing Yap Motors wid installation,bro.My shocks can be adjusted at the springs and the gas canister.Solid shocks! Confident to play corner..lol!

 

Wing Yap Motors(AMK Ave 10) - $250 w/installation

B Plus(Along 219 Sticker Shop) - $280 w/o installation

 

But i changed ma shocks b4 the GST increase!

 

bro how long u use the gazi shock liao? any problem will it be very soft if got pillion. ur is hyper rite?? any comment on the hacker????

 

damn its expensive for bitubo.... but its one of the best.... anyone know other brand like kayaba & Ohlins....... I hate the brand mikuku so kuniang... haha cheerios thanks for posting and anyone knows how much is OHLINS oR KAYABA Original Not those from localmade....

 

haha mikuku... tat my shock now.. super hate it:angry: :angry: it so soft and lookin at it, it kind of bend... so scare it will break...:cry: :cry: :cry:

my bike now 6 years already rebuilt my shock twice both at diff shop.... now koyak already my shock..... haha

 

i hear that yss very hard. u noe where can change and price? i tinking of gazi

or you can try Mezzo..

 

if u not familier wit the mech at teck thye i advise don waste ur money. my shock sent there twice now the leak still not rectified. go mezzo or bikelab will be a better choice..
