I'll be staying at dew drop inn. So kindly booked your own rooms there. If you prefer other hotels then you'll have to link up with us somehow.

 

Ride will be from 1am of 30 May so your endurance better be good. One way is already 600km. Via old road.

 

Coming back by new road we'll be heading to gopeng for lunch before riding back.

 

Kindly ensure that your bike is in good condition for the journey as it's expensive to tow back to sg.

 

Every bound will be 150km. If you need to top up in between then I'll wait for you at the next stop. Unless you need me to hold hand all the way.

How's the riding posture of the PCX? I mounted one at ASP like not too comfy for long distance?

How long the journey took ? constant speed 100km/hr?

My speedo will show 100kmh. But actual speed is 90kmh nia. My other group will go between 120-140kmh. They'll start later then me by 2 hours. We'll link up with them at tapah R & R before heading up the highlands via the old road.

Me or 9000 doesn't matter cos we'll end up at the same place. And there really isn't many places to run up there.

 

Coming back I'll head to somewhere near gopeng for special lunch though. That's via the new road down.

Wow! Bro 600km is a long way down with a PCX if I could see correctly. Must be a perlious journey & lots of potholes to avoid. Just wondering how long for you to reach there.

lol. I brought a group of 2b bikes up there before. So no issue on that part. Personally I've ridden my old scarabeo up there before as well.

 

The towns up there are kinda jammed up ride now due to the popularity of the the place. So a small bike up there will be great. Journey to and fro from sg gonna be a b!tch I have to admit. But I don't mind coz I'll be going even further next year. 😁

My scarabeo and me in Hatyai. This is up a hill where some parts are as bad as cameron but roads are better.

Howdee Mr Scarab, really feel like going but the wife wants to tag along. 2 of us plus light luggage approx.120kg. My Kymco 125cc scooter scared cannot go up or go up halfway need to come down to push.....tat will be FUNNY hor....LOL!

Bike still can go up to the hotel. No worries. But will be a really slow ascent for you if your wife comes along. And definitely you won't make it up to the top peak as well. But that's just a vintage point. So can skip that.

Between 120kmh and 140kmh with four stops will be less than 9 hours. Just top up and go.

 

My small scooter will probably take 10 hours.

My SWT only manages 10.5hrs to Danok only. Hatyai will be another hour.

 

I guess that's the difference between iron and tender butt.

On my Goldwing I took 7.5hrs. 😁
