Sounds extremely stupid, but does anyone actually weighs their wheels? Which is lighter? My opinion, Lightweight alum hubs n rims with spokes are lightest, but which sport rims weighs least?

Standard spokes rim are the LIGHTEST among the few rims in the market.

You can never get a lighter sport rim than original.

Even if there exist one, the cost will be more than the Entire New Bike.

The best brand of sport rims for Wave i can get my hands on is Enkei rims which is made is Japan.

But prices already so ex so i'm not importing them in.

Errr..... Bro... Marvic and Marchesini both have rims sizes for cub (actually meant for gp125 bikes) at around $1000++ each. Both add up is still within $2000++ range leh... Gurp... You sure you wanna buy em?? Not too sure if they're lighter then a spokes rim though....

That's the size of rims used by underbones of asia pacific races... Shouldn't have anything thinner then that.

Anyway, the reason you'll spend a bomb to get sportsrims is for better road-holding capability tru a corner, and that's something a 17 x1.4 is not able to provide..

Hi bro, how's yr spokes rim performing, and how is it compared to the sports rim? Any 'feeleble' difference or advantage?

Thanks, cheers
