Front - 70/90

Back - 80/90

Currently I am using the IRC GOLD WINGS tyre. It's a soft compound tyre. Not bad in the rain also got grip!

i see. thanks for the info.

but i took the plunge and tried out some new stuffs. I eventually changed to duro soft-compund tyres. Front 70/80, Rear 80/90. So far so good...

Topic : sport rims & tyres

Description : recommend?

********************************************************************

hello,

can any one recommend any sport rims or brand of tyres (or a good combination of both) that is more resistant to puncture? im currently using vee-rubber & spoke rims, punctured 3 times since may, very sick and tired already. I heard sports rims is less prone to punctures? corrrect?

I don't hope to walk all the way home for 2+ hours from commonwealth again like this morning, or even worse from some other further place...so pls share yr info if u do know, thanks!

yea, i kinda had 3 puncture and my worst encounter is the long staple pin going thru my IRC tyre. SO sick that i changed to sports rims. never had a puncture since then, even some times i pull out quite a big piece of iron grinded piece dunno where it picked up from.

in sg, it'll be expensive. but u can have original rims and japanese tyres, if want cheaper go jb lor.

another option, i want to change bike, i can let u have mine for some cash. :)
