The stock IRC ok mah....

See my signature.... Rode my bike from border to border and through every corner of MHS on those stock IRC tyres....

Rode back to HDY and changed at about 10,500kms later.

Very good tyres ! :thumb:

Extremely dangerous. I was riding my 1 and 1/2 mth old raider150 after the rain. When i approached a roundabout and depressed my rear brakes slightly. The next thing i knew, my bike fish-tailed and skidded. I was thrown to the ground and i was only travelling at 30++km/h! Imagine if i was going faster than that. :giddy:

Now my beloved raider is scratched...

Any better tires to recommend for better stablity and grip for all weather condition? Thanks for the help!!

Till now still very heart pain over my new raider...

i feel dat at such slow speed, u wont fall dat easily... u fell unless u jam brake or u down gear when cornering.... these are the two big possibilities dat u fell... am i rite? cos 4 stroke down gear, the engine brake is more effective than 2stroke... irc is slippery on wet ground, i admit... but at such low speed, i think is more likely is due to the way u ride, dats y u fell.

Me toooo!..... Just "BUANG" my 125z two days ago and was riding only 40km/h. The rear IRC tyre slipped while negotiating a corner.......now, my beloved bike is injured. Me.....nothing is more painful than looking at my bike day and nite..

I'm using my raider150 daily for one year now (rain or shine) but i don't have any slides problem with my stock tires. I only experience tailgating due to sudden stop and too much rear break. I already replaced my rear tire with an IRC also, the stock tire of Suzuki Super Best 125 (IRC Eagle Wing).

Just be cautious with the road condition and you'll get a good response from the tires. Dunlop TT900 is good but it's too soft and it will last lesser but it grips more. Michellin is also a good tire but the performance seems like IRC.

best is to get the wax off...doesn`t matter wat tyres...

i think i brake a bit harder than i usually do. (engine brake first then apply brakes.) think the road also quite slippery. the feeling is like skidding on ice? :cheeky: no traction at all... and i am quite shocked my rear swing out.

c'est la vie~

Got my bike done up today. I noticed that now its harder to change the gears, as in its harder to kick up and kick down the gears. Sometimes i can't even kick down to first gear, or kick up when moving off, like its jammed. Its very diff from the first day i rode my raider. Er.. any experienced brothers can give advice? pai sey, i only started riding not long ago. very suakoo...
