i went to ah koon's yesterday. was quoted an estimate of at least 400-700 for dealing with the rattling sound caused by my piston. but, of course he said he needs to open the bike up, etc to have a better idea. can bargain or not?

* Signal bulb, headlight bulb - 1 $ (LAB, easy DIY) (add on: approved brighter ones for $8. bought from koon.)

anybody tried the brighter ones from koon before? is there really a big difference??

A mechanic can help you loosen the steering and knock the wheel back into alignment. Small issue, unless the cone was damaged. Try the small fix first.

If you're brave it can be DIYed - using a conveniently located wall to align the loose wheel :D

Hi, was just wondering. Seen alot abt the Ah Chong from Planet, i gather he must be a solid mechanic there. Was wondering do u guys go planet and specifically ask for Ah Chong to service your bike or he's the only one doing phantom and auto come to your aid when he sees a phantom? The thing is I just got my first phantom months ago, fell twice, though its still moving reasonably well but can't help but feel different from the first time i rode it. I can't put my fingers on the difference n would like to seek a specialist help on this.

Just go there look for the cute scientist-looking Ah Chong and ask him to test ride. It's best if you visit on weekdays or mornings when he's just open for business (9+am). More time to play with your bike and make sure everything's okay.

Don't be afraid to disturb him if he's busy, so he'll attend to you faster.
