Day 1 - Friday

We met, we gathered, we had a simple briefing and we departed Gelang Patah Esso at 2115hrs onto the North South Highway with our hearts filled with excitement as we hit the Highway heading towards Sadao.

Day 2 - Saturday

We reached Sadao border by 1115hrs and went through the customs smoothly without much hassle. Also thanks to KennySeaw for the delicious and juicy grilled whole chicken leg. Soon we were on the road again to head towards Hatyai town and check-in to Sakol Hotel.

It was indeed a tiring ride after 16hours but everyone is filled with enthusiasm as we gathered at 1430hrs at the hotel lobby to head to the bike accessories shop. The shop sells many accessories but mainly they are for cubs. Some went to repair their bike, some went to fix accessories and some went for their own activities.

We then had a simple dinner and went for traditional thai massage. It was shiok to lie down and be massaged after a tiring day. The laughters and talking c*** sessions soon faded as all of us fell asleep during the massage.

Day 3 - Sunday

Next morning, we went for breakfast near our hotel at about 10am and had 43 plates of Tim Sum, on top of pork porraige and fried rice... :hungry: Pigsmu is the greatest eater of all time!

After a yummy breakfast, we rode our bikes out, to the giant buddha at the temple right at the top of the mountains. The scenery is fantastic, overlooking the entire Hatyai town..... simply breath-taking. Fire crackers is available there at the temple and we bought a box of 10,000 pieces at 1500bahts (S$60) to play!

Next we went to the waterfalls, had our lunch there and enjoyed ourselves under the pouring falls. It's cold and 'hard' riding back with my pants all wet after all the wet wet fun....

Dinner is near Carrefour at a restaurant where you can eat and rent a fishing rod to fish at the same time. Quite a nice, relaxed ambience at the dining table, not forgetting the gents' wildlife concept toilet.

At 1am, since we cant sleep right after supper by the night hawkers along the street in front of Lee Gardens, we then went to Paragon disco.... I would say its the largest and nicest disco in Hatyai. The sound system is damm solid, so are the female counterparts. :D Furthermore, the best thing is, its FOC, no cover charge!!

Day 4 - Monday

Its Tim Sum breakfast again, but at the outskirts of the town. This time we had porraige and 48 dishes of Tim Sum! Again the biggest eater award goes to -->Pigsmu!

Its OTOT after breakfast. I went to few Honda showrooms to purchase original parts for my Honda Wave and some went to re-wrap the bike's cushion seat. Lunch was late at 1530hrs but was good, cos we had sharksfin soup! :D Our dear friend Ernie basically walked round the entire Hatyai by foot to do shopping!

Dinner is something different, Japanese food! At least its something different after so much Thai food over the past 3 days. Need I say more on who's the biggest eater again?

Day 5 - Tuesday

Everyone gathered, packed their stuffs at the car park and we moved off at 0715hrs. Soon we were on the Highway again.... The journey back is very smooth and pretty fast due to everyone's cooperation. Thank you guys!

sorry to say.... pls do not try how far your bike can go. all bikes before long trips must do some form of maintaince and repairs, i.e. chain spocket, belt, engine oil, spark plug, screws, radiator, tires.

if your bike break down half way esp near the border, the cost of transporting the bike back to repair will be more than a few hundreds.

all ours bikes had been service, maintain and repaired before we went up. There maybe bikes shops to repair our kinda bikes there but its going to cost and will be wasting everyone time. it maybe hours before the tow truck comes.

lastly if you have the idea of trying how far your bike can go, then you be better off going alone or with one or two friends who are willing to try with you.

lastly don't go for a trip and to worry about when your bike going to break down. go for a trip to enjoy the ride and not let others worry about you.
