Tracking this coming june, need guide and kakis

Hi, just passed cl2 5months ago, bought r6 last cny. now planning to bring it for track for an experience.

 

Which track should i go for? Pasir Gudang or Sepang? Which one better?

 

I have absolutely no experience in tracks before. I'm perhaps one of the youngest cl2 rider in sg now, just reached 24yo, (was youngest when i passed and took my cl2 at 23, last december)

 

Any things I need to do for a headstart? Can I bring myself a set of leather jacket and pants instead of full set? Are full set compulsory. I got a cheapo full face helmet i got from one of my camp encik as a bday gift 1 year ago. so have no prob with helmet. how much should i bring etc?

 

any newb wanna go with me.. im looking for people to go really slow like me, then see if i can adjust myself to others bike's pace then decide how fast i want. own time own target kind, not racing anyone.

Sickboi brought up a very important point for you to consider first before worrying about other things..

Ofcourse what you meant by 'cheapo' could be different from what we assume.

 

Just sharing.. I had a first corner incident at Turn 1 Tuas track wearing a 'cheapo' FF. It was supposed to be a Practice Day, a relaxed ride so thought of just wearing a 'cheapo' helmet.

One week in NUH diagnosed with a fractured cheek bone.

Imagine the damage at a full race track at speed. And.. Wearing a 'cheapo' helmet??

Never compromise on these things even if it is just a slow ride on track.

We've went last Sunday. Some of us might be going this Sunday's track day. I can't though due to work commitments. Got chance I'll go on this Saturday
