well... that depends on your level of "good" lor. i am a stereo system freak, so i am quite particular when comes to sound system...

then again to me its like a hobby. i dun carry my box everyday. my daily use is my mp3player. i only use my music box on weekends when i am out with my friends... and with that weight behind, of course, no speeding and cornering... :cheeky:

and those friends whom i know to have better quality sound system, the box's space u have will be taken up by the speakers, amp... thus reducing space for other barang barang... and with a better quality sound system, your batt drains v fast... i need to parallel another batt, if not, my bike's batt cannot tahan.

opps, sorry to off topic, to ans your question, i think a pair of 5.25 inch component speaker (look for big magnet behind) with a amp shd be enough. my very first config was only two component speakers (brand is super rock) with a baby amp (sony). travel at 90 still can hear. bass wise also not bad... but not enough to me... haha...

my two cents.

c'est la vie~

Hi guys comments or ppl who have installed speakers in their box.

1. Do u need 2 add another batt for the speaker if not it'll drain the orignial out fast?

2. The speaker is dunno wat brand? A pair for $75 with built in twikers i think.

isst gd or buy got brand de better?

3. Plus another thing which allow u to conect the mp3 player. than the 'thing' can play music which cost $90+

4. Total = $130 no installation.

5. ANyway im riding x1 with a givi slim box which can only put 1 helmet.

Pls give me sum info thanks... :cheer:

Hanazawa, if no amp u will not be able to hear anything at all on the move. Get at least the 200W ones. 2 way is nuf cos u can install in parallel if u want 4 speakers.

Mini amp not enough power but unless u really hard on space. Price wise same as normal 200W amp.

IMHO ur speakers are kinda ex. The most expensive ones cost at most $55.

Tweezers cost like $5 for 1. No pt putting tweezers cos ur bike is in the open. Unless most of e time u play inside a small confined space, like a shop.

Installation will cost $50 cos need to cut the box to mount the speakers.

Overall i dont think the system u r getting is worth it.

Anyway i m selling my system. Hahas not pushing my system la but just sharing what i know. If u r interested, can add me in MSN to discuss, [email protected].

Gd luck!

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

1. Do u need 2 add another batt for the speaker if not it'll drain the orignial out fast? Not reli need to add...but tap to ur bike batt...dry cell will be better.

2. The speaker is dunno wat brand? A pair for $75 with built in twikers i think.

isst gd or buy got brand de better? Try to find out from the supplier & ask them to test.

3. Plus another thing which allow u to conect the mp3 player. than the 'thing' can play music which cost $90+ [should be the amp]

Here's my 5cent worth.

btw i use a e33 box, two 6.25" bass , two 4.25" normal speakers, and amp with 2 channel which is 600Watt

but the speakers stil cant take the amp....will burst when its damn Fu*king loud.

total diy cost --> 200sgd lik tt
