Road Hazard for Motorycycle

Recommended Posts

Well I believe the purpose of this thread is to consolidate all potential hazards posed against motorcyclists. The mentality of some drivers is which I consider a hazardous conditon for motorcyclists as well.

Besides, if no one even bothers to mention it, nothing will really be changed. Similarly, the use of better paint for lane markings, for example, will also take a paradigm shift for politicians to make changes. It is also probably not something that can be done overnight even though authorities might choose to see the point.

2 things which CAN be done to improve road conditions:

Retarmac the roads such that the grooves don't end in the center of the bloody lane!! 2B bikes with thinner wheels are very much susceptoble to tram-trailing and it can be very dangerous.

Take good note of those bloody pothole covers! They often sink into the road so much that riders get a bloody a shock most of the time. No matter what speed you're at. Balls shrink at the same time.

how do you suggest we fight for it?

typical route:

1) raise issue

2) get small group of like-minded people

3) send a letter to _______

4) receive reply that beats around the bush but fails to address the issue.

what's lacking is an individual/organization that champions the issues, as in raises it up again, keeps flagging it in the face of the authority or whoever until they do something about it.

for the time being, maybe it's good enough to at least acknowledge the dangers in this forum & hope enough people read through to recognize that these exist & will be more cautious at the same time..

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:
