just a random question as i am so bored staring into the monitor the whole morning... Okay...here goes...

Why is the resale value for TA150 so low? Its equipped with a sp engine and a more or less similar chassis as the TA200. so why the value so low? even lower than a Y125Z or a RXZ... come, come let's discuss.

there are many old 2b bikes out there with their resale value way higher than TA150. e.g: nsr 150 sp, rxz 135, y125z even a rxk can fetch a higher price... am i right to day the the low value is mainly due to the fact to the low demand? i find it's a shame cos in my opinion, it is a great bike.

I hope its not your 1st bike, because you'll learn how to upgrade from this to a men's machine. I don't know if you call it chopper or not for a bike with 2 stroke peh pehhhhhhh

it is....i think the low price compare to the others is that they are more main stream..

chopper is not the most prefered bike...just look at the kup chai...u will understand

kup kia woots! Ultimate 2b weapon after the rs125 IMO :cheeky:

wooo. a monster 696. it's so freaking cool.

anw vidak, recently your bike broke down was caused by what?

and what service should I do every few months?(other than change eo and spark plug?

speeding. kills. your. bike.

if i'm correct , his bike piston crak + split..

maybe you can just change eo every 1.5k and sparkplug every 2 EO change.

once in a while take a look the brake pads and air filter ;-)

Gosh. my battries seems to be losing power. Wonder if charging it works anot.

chain - change when it cannot be tightened anymore (change with sprocket if possible)

sprocket - change when teeth is sharp (change with chain if possible)

air filter - every few oil change...

brake pads - change when it is thin

Haha bro, it is indeed my 1st bike. the main reason why i got it is cos my friend is letting it go at a super steal... i took over the bike for less than $200 inclusive of transfer fees. tell me, where can find such a deal? I decided to spend as little as possible for a 2B bike as i want to save up for a 2A bike hence the decision to get the TA150. It has been serving me well for more than 5 months and im very happy with it. unfortunately i already spent a couple of hundreds replacing wear and tear parts. afterall she just passed her 10 year old b'day a few days ago.

I do not have pleasant experiences with most kup kia riders... especially J platers... the way they ride is make me feel like giving them a good kick and send them sprawling to the tarmac... :sian::sian:

I have finally decide to break open my strobe's controller box... two of the parts have broken off the circuit board... both are probably capacitors... I will put up a photo later... this information will help me greatly in modifying the next set

yeah.. how many youngsters likes to ride a TA150 as compared to RXK/Z, SP, KRR, x1 etc.

i guess.. 1 or none out of 10?

If people are planning to get class 2A bikes, i doubt they will grab a bike that is not so popular and hence TA150 is "stuck" in the market?

Bro, i agree, when i was still riding with a "L" plate i never thought of getting a Phantom be it TA200 or TA150 cos i thought it look like a "uncle bike" LOL.:cheeky: but after riding my TA150 for almost half a year. i would say im very satisfied so far. i wouldnt spend too much for a 2b bike cos i know i will upgrade to 2A once i get 2A licence.

Possible but not feasible IMO. I remember seeing someone almost buang with that because he installed the front eagle footrest as well but the "foot peg"(eagle) didn't fold up when he cornered. :faint:

i believe the only TA150 able to fetch a decent price would be mad man's ex ride, his pink phantom TA150. sure is a head turner.

true to a certain extent... the COE was ending in about 5 months when i took over the bike and there were a number of parts that need replacing. but $200 is still a steal i think. under my ownership, these are the maintainance history other than the regular EO and plug change.

1. throttle cable

2. clutch cable

3. front tire

4. air filter (to my horror, the airbox no filter as the whole filter kenna "makan":faint:)

5. 2T rubber hose

6. speedometer (2nd hand)

7. brake light activator switch

8. servicing of carb (wash and replace a needle like valve)

9. sprocket & chain

10. rewrap seat

Most of the jobs was done at *****t.
