Is PB1 400cc worth restoring and keep??? what are your takes folks?

 

pb1 is a fine machine. generally not much problems. afterall its a super4.. no prob with parts etc.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

PB1 IMO is great if u can find a good condition one... ver s is not bad too... power is sufficient for both sg n msia

thanks Bro :cheeky:I will consider first. Still doing market research on which bike to change , should Upgrade bike anot and lastly still loved my Ta200 alot alot :D

Cause I got a crazy idea of getting a PB1 and restore it and maybe renewing it's COE.. But it's gonna be 20years old soon. Younger then me by few years only man.. hahaha... Worried about getting parts in near future.

Yeah. PB1 quite rare in singapore lately too. Mostly scraped already. 7 years older then you only Joe.. :shy:

Yup! tubeless tires are the way of Life man. Can go touring with a piece of Mind too :D

Ask yourself what you want to do with the bike? Transport? Touring? Track? etc...

 

Can you afford the maintainance? Fuel? This way, you can streamline down to the type of bikes you can choose from. And if I remember correctly, you still have not completed NS.. if so, stick with your TA. Complete your duties then change bike....Wont give yourself too much stress...

 

Just a personal opinion..I fxxking hate ppl who wants to ride a big bike and KPKB about the bad FC and high maintainance.

super4 is good bike.. only that resale value is rather high.

 

the other day ah chong was saying..

 

FY plate spec2 7k

FY plate fazer6 6k

 

fazer machine price - new 16k

super4 machine price - new 12k

 

PB1, verS all are good bikes, but only to factor the wear and tear parts due to age.

just work out the value..
