Take the CBR. Better acceleration. Closer to a proper bike.

spark is on a better Fuel comsuption. save money. good to modify.

CBR is a four stroke sportbike. in compare to sp kw all this (which are 2 stroke sport bike), the performance much behind though FC is better. look wise i find that the front is abit too small compare to the bike making it look abit ffunny. (no offence to CBR150 rider.)

in conclusion, get a spark better la.

somehow agree with xiaowen. I would go for spark, honda wave or bajaj due to few reasons:

1. fuel economy - about 45-50 km/l

2. easy maintenance - relatively cheap

3. small bike easy to manoeuvre

4. good resale market

the advantages listed above are most suitable to your needs at the moment. Referring to u just getting your licence, these bikes' insurances will be cheaper as opposed to cbr150. In my view, I recommend u getting them as u may wanna buy and 'try try' during your class 2b licence. Then next time easier to sell off when u upgrade to bigger bikes.

many bikes people say are good for FC like mentioned.I've ridden all except pulsar.

1)ta200 @ phantom

2)CBR 150

3)wave

4)pulsar

5)spark

my reasons for liking/disliking them

1)Phantom--Has Torque but no acceleration, Power to weight ratio quite bad except for ta150, petrol saving & good for students, can carry loads if you got a box and/or sideboxes but what the hell would students like me carry??ride mobile storeroom to school?? big, bulky, fishtails, longer braking distance, totally not for a youngster like me.Everyone says the seats and posture is comfortable but not for a 1.75m guy like me.FC average around 30+ to 40km/L

2)CBR 150-- looks sport but too small for most adults/teens like me.Power to weight ratio not bad, engine sounds like a honda wave to me lol..handling so-so..Good choice for a 4 stroker. FC quite good around 40+km/L

3)wave-- would like one as katar@transport bike instead of my ta200 now. power to weight ratio awesome.top speed around 100 odd only but good enough if you're someone stuck in SG always..small and agile,FC good but small petrol tank so have to pump often. Some would say its quite weak with pillion but oh well who'd be so fat anyway.Me(60+kg) with a pillion(60+) can go quite well...some don't like the loose handling.. FC around 40+ above

4)pulsar-- known to be underpowered, made in india, looks good, haven't ridden one.FC is da best(I did say made in india) known to be 40+ to 50+km/L.

5)spark--seen with clutch and w/out clutch ver. like wave but only ridden those with clutch.Basically looks like wave, looks awesome for a kub..power to weight ratio is also good but I'd choose wave over this because of price and the clutch.common relaxed ride I'd say next to wave and because its quite attractive. Most would like this next to x-1 or 125z if they want a kub race..small tyres(how big you can get on this small stock machines??).FC above 40km/L small tank like wave too so ya.

FIN
