Voltmeter Installation

Saw those timex voltmeter on bikes. THose auto change colouRs. ANalog type. Heard get from car service shops. anyone? anywhere? thanks for reading.

when u buy the voltmeter outside and install...

most of them will wire it to your headlight socket supply.

some will wire it to the ignition which is wat i have done when i diy install my voltmeter.

but i heard from a forumer, best is to wire it to the main fuse as the voltage there is the most stable reading...

 

i gonna re-wire mine to the fuse soon... wana see if there is a difference or not.

Wire direct to battery and tat's the best. But do remember to add on a relay for tat.

thats what i thought also.

 

take directly from the leads of the battery, that will give you the combined loading of the battery hence giving you the best reading instead of just taking from one component.

can anyone advice me how much it cost? the origin package does not come with the holder for the voltmeter, which place sell the holder and how much
