think planet motors got do. is just take out some of the fiber to make the sound louder.

bros i have a few questions.

 

1.if you buy a 2nd hand endcan. and fail inspection cos you didnt know the previous owner modded the pipe. do you have to pay to re inspect the pipe after rectifying the problem (repack end can)?

 

2.inspection for endcan is 78 dollars right? anyone know how much it cost to go through shop instead?

 

3. when you swap on the new yoshi pipe right. just need to screw it on? or need to put gasket inbetween the endcan and header?

 

4. must re-tune the bike even if it is running fine after swapping the new yoshi in?

repacking yoshi pipe is really appealing... as mentioned in another post bikeworks does it for 120 bucks. not sure how much planet charges but they do it too. anw be advised repacking makes the pipe really bassy and loud... i mean REALLY loud... as someone mentioned, do it only if you have hardcash to burn...

Mine got repacked for $80 plus labour at MotoWorld. Repacked with original Yoshimura fibers. Initially it sounds silent, dats when u send for inspection. Den after a month of riding in sg, it'll be much louder. If u can't wait like me, go whack all da way to Desaru & back. Sounds super different now. And it's getting louder still.

just curious, what do you do with the old exhaust and header after replacement ? Bring it back home or can trade in for some money ?

never seen or heard abt it. although yoshimura has exhaust with 2 discharge on other bikes ar.

guy i heard yoshimura endcan got first n 2nd batch. most ppl would recommend first batch for its performance? n there is also firespec n titanium? 1st batch is titanium 2nd batch is firespec? anyone know more about tis?
