i was wondering, ignore the legalities here. i was wondering, anybody shortened their exhausts before? cut and weld to make the endcan shorter? got any power difference? what about long distance? i was wondering how its gonna perform during touring mode, noisy definitely but what about fuel consumption and speed/torque?

somewhere along the lines of a chopped up yoshi endcan?

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

hahahaha... i know there has been some of you who actually chopped your damaged yoshis into "race cans" and den used a stock for daily riding... so i wanna know more abt the "race cans". are there any noticeable difference asides from a shorter can like termignonis? heck if its so hard to get answers, den i'll just order a cheap shortcan from china and try it out.

totally dont get what you trying to say..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Tks bro thrasher. I've checked it thoroughly and heard that fierce sound. Documents are all in. The pipe is actually from another cb400 which was on sale in the shop where I purchased my bike. I asked the shop owner and he agreed to sell it to me. Going to fix it on this Wednesday.

Bros, my friend is using a V-tec 1 bike. Can a version 's' yoshimura full system be fixed in a v-tec 1 bike? My friend's V-tec is using 4-2-1 type. The one from the version 's' is 4-1. Pls guide. Tks.

Your yoshimura full system is a real full system or is it a modified 4-1 header fixed to a yoshimura endcan? Anyway, both should be able to. But just reconfirm with your shop again.

I checked with some shops and they said, there's no full system for version 's'. Only full system for V-tec. So I think the owner of that version 's' bike must have modified it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well it's up to you then. 4-1 headers are always better at pick up but if you yearn for top speed, 4-2-1 is the way to go. But sound wise, 4-1 of course more garang :)

Bro saje, one of my friend told me that I can get yoshimura made in China end-cans. Is it true? Is there such websites selling pipes? Can give me some links to the websites? Are the pipes approved by LTA?

LOL. Bro, made in China products are not the original yoshimura and most probably not approved by LTA.
