hi there.... i nid ur help 4rm any riders riding tzm/kr.... im learning how to diy n can sum1 pls help to go abt do e setting for tzm n kr.... much air i nid to open? den carb sett to wich rpm??? tanzx alot man./..

best to noe what u wan den visit the bikeshop u frequent, and ask them to teach u some.. hard 2 explain one.. u nid to see and hands on and understand the concept..

wrong setting can damage ur engine.

need enuff fuel.

but not too much, as it will be wasted and left unburnt.

u can check the spark plug to see enough or not.

 

setting rpm u mean idling? 1.2 ok la

i doubt u have enough tools to help u with the task.

 

suggest u spend the $25 or so to get the bike towed to motorshop. it is much worse to dismantle everything then later realised u duno how to fix back. end up u really bring yrself for a ride for trying to save on $25.

sori late reply..... e bike jus send for overhaul... total cost 820$.. izit worth it? coz ive changed conrod+conrod bearings(coz smash into pieces oread), den e shop say block,piston.... btw any1 noes how to do setting/power setting? n also how to lessen e throttle free play?(im using tzm throttle) coz las time b4 i send to shop, e throttle veri firm, veri lil freeplay.....

i may nid to bring up e topic again.... as read above, i did overhaul in oct las yr... yet, currently, my bike still got prob... yesterday my bike like no power.. i open throttle den like wan to die like dat... brought to bike shop den dey say cdi prob.. wen cdi wans to spoil no signal izit?

 

another thing im veri2 stress is my conrod bearings are so call wear off... mech say sounds frm my rod bearings area, piston rings, even e radiator fan?? (on e left of my engine..small circle/normally 50cents place dey call it)

 

im jus wondering how come can so fast wear off? its like jus 6mths old den i nid to send for overhaul again??

i think im having the same problem as you.

when im started to go off from a stationary spot, when i trottle and kick up to gear 2, and i power up again to changes gear 3, i'll feel like the bike is losing power. no matter how i trottle, the bike go very slow. i need to turn the trottle alot in order for the bike to be smooth. else the bike will vibrate alot.

and i need to have a long run without stopping, then the bike will go as per normal. and my valve dont seem to open leh.

anyway one know whats my problem?
