wah...Aprilia SXV 5.5....but haiyoh...I onli got class 2A leh..and i not tat rich lah..haha..but isnt the Aprilia SXV alot more higher than drz or ktm?..correct me if i'm wrong..

 

 

It's lower than a DRZ. I shaved off tha seat and SLIGHTLY lowered tha forks and shocks and VIOLA!!, tiptoe still though and only 1 leg at a tym. lols!! But damn, it's a POWERFUL ride!!

 

Have fun wit ya DRZ.. Would have settled for it if it wasn't love at first sight fer tha SXV @ Mah's.. :D

I just got an Aprilia SXV 5.5 on sat.

 

I tink tha bike is **** cool and u wldnt have a prob wit it. Trust me, i bought it already.

 

Nway, eat more is a good option. When u eat more, u becum merry and heavy and bein' heavy brings tha bike down more!! :cheeky:

I very much suggest u guys not ta go fer tha SXV 1st. As u guys noe, i'm tha 1st and only SXV in SIngapore now.( kere kan, i'm tha guinea pig la.. There's sum issues, ratha big ones wit April. I have been sendin' it bk a couple of times already. In fact, i'm gettin' it send back again today.

 

These issues can be rectified, but i believe it will tak sum tym.. PARTS- HEADACHE.

 

Easy ta get online, but it's mostly priced in pounds. Singapore Dollars - pounds = X 2.81. :faint:

 

A PC3 fer R6 cost u mayb abt 500SGD, a PC3 fer a SXV cost u 650SGD( FREIGHT NOT INCLUDED YET ).

 

It's crazy lor.. I'm now lookin' fer an exhaust sys, which is a MUST, because STOCK exhaust is too restrictive, it will cost a lot of probs.

 

Cheapest : GPR ( but only stainless steel which i am not very keen ) but we have a dealer here in Singapore.

 

Good reviews : SILMOTO & ARROW

 

SILMOTO : Full sys priced @ 1,395.00 pounds NOT includin' freight. NO Dealer here.

 

ARROW : Have Dealer in Singapore, but they do not bring in model fer SXV yet, if buy online, 800.00 pounds, NOT includin' freight. We even have to send our ECU ova fer a FREE mappin' and have them send it ta us togetha wit tha exhaust sys. OF COZ we havta pay all shippin' involved.

Shah can't get them from Arrow cz tha Agent themselves probably hadnt figure out tat tha VDB replica could actually fit on April- but proper mappin' is needed. Which I have ta fork out freght charges ta send ma ECU ova fer them ta map it out and send both tha exhaust and ECU ova..

 

I tink i wld go fer tha Silmoto and get ma UK fren ta freight it ova, hopefully it will be much cheaper, if not I will havta go fer tha GPR.

 

This is a darn difficult decision ta make, cz if i dun lyk it in tha end, I won't be able ta sell ta anybody cz nobody else has tha same bike!!
