nope. sungei buloh restricted lah. by invitation or kakis only. u been there? bring me leh. but i seldom fish at ponds lah. budget angler.

Maybe we can try the punggol pay pond or the pasir ris pay pond for fishing cos recently they had fishing competition during national day so the left over might siut your taste and i try the competition but not many ppl caught fishes back. Good to try

maybe can try reservoir fishing. looks liek fun and scenery oso cool.

 

bedok reservoir seems a good fishing spot. when i go for walks i see old and young there. furthermore its free, only cannot use live bait.

Went to Bottle Tree Village yesterdae... No action seen but the place is good.. clean, nice, quiet, well facilited

whats the name of the fishing pond between khatib mrt & yio chu kang mrt station. I saw it from the mrt train window yesterday - the landscaping looks impressive.

i tried the taman jurong pond before.it not that good.i fish there a few times.most of the fish are sea bass and the bite rate is lousy.and the best thing is, the pond is not deep and the water is filled with salt by workers there.not natural salt water.

BTP has a pretty big fresh water pond for fishing and probably the biggest in Singapore.

 

- Open 8a.m - 5p.m (Sat & Sun only, not for PH)

- must bring own "baits", can bring own rod. (rod rental is avail but depend on availability)

-Whole day fishing costs $35.00

 

 

 

 

Other than fishing, it has prawn fishing and "longkang" fishing which is operated by Whitewater Recreations.

 

- Open Daily 8a.m - 11p.m @$14.50/hr (closed on Chinese New Year)

- can bring back the prawns or u can BBQ on the spot. Getting two hours entitles 3omins free. If you purchase 3hrs, you are entitled an extra hour free. Personal equipment are allowed.

 

"Longkang" fishing is for kids. Each $10/hour ticket entitles the kido a net and a fish tank for keep (You get to bring home the net and the tank).

Mollies, guppies, sultan, gold fish and other assorted tropical fish are found in the "longkang".

haha.no prob man.hope you can get some good catch over there.i am trying to explore different places to fish.haha.if got good place or good pond, will recommend you guys.anyway i just went fishing at marina south fishing pond.only got 4 fish.not really that good as the last time i went.
