Liverpool was playing very cautiously so as to conserve their energy and focus on this week Champions League. They can't afford to lose this match to FC Basel as it means they will be out of the league.

now bike in motorshop since 1st oct. goin to b there till ard christmas. sianz. :mad:

Champions League Tonite!!!

 

Arsenal vs PSV

 

Auxerre vs Borusia Dortmund

 

FC Basel vs Liverpool

 

Valencia vs Spartak Moscow

 

Racing GENK vs Real Madrid

 

Roma vs AEK

 

Ajax vs Inter-Milan

 

Rosenborgv vs Lyon

 

Group A

Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal have qualified for the second phase.

 

[/color]Group B

Valencia have won the group and qualified. Basel will advance or draw with Liverpool. Liverpool needs a win to qualified.

 

Group C

Real Madrid and Roma are neck-to-neck for the NO 1 spot. Athens must upset Roma away in order to make it.

 

Group D

The Ajax Amsterdam vs Inter-Milan match will be critical. Lyon must win away to Rosenberg to keep their hopes alive.

 

Group E

Juventus can sit easy as they have qualified for the second phase. If Dynamo Kiev draw their final match, they will be overtaken and kicked out provided Newcastle beat Feyenoord.

 

Group F

Manchester United is thru for the second phase. But Bayer Leverkusen can take No 1 spot if they win. Maccabi must win away at Olympiakos for an outside chance to qualify.

 

Group G

AC Milan are through to the second phase. Lens must win away to Bayern Munich in order to edge out Deportivo.

 

Group H

Barcelona sits comfortably on the No 1 spot. The other 3 teams stand an even chance to qualify, however, Lokomotiv looks to have the best opportunity as they need a home win against Club Bruges to qualify.

 

Live on ch5 for FC Basel vs Liverpool at 3.30am Wednesday.

:angel: muahahahaha *evil laughter* But it was an exciting match.. I think Philip nearly had an heart attack after 30 min. It was a great come back, which really brought the final minutes into climax.. but still they need a win..

 

I know I sound bad.. but somehow I wished they won't go through deep down some where.. :sweat:
