Could be a low idling as suggested by HelmetBoX. Check that first, but i doubt since you have ridden 2000km w/o any issues.

Might be a TPS problem, but would be a pain in the *** if occurred at such mileage. Run a self diagnostic for any error code stored in The best bet would be to bring it for WARRANTY claims should it occur often.

But before you hit HL, maybe you can run through the diagnostics (no.62) first , to check for any history of errors that might have occured/recorded. If there is diagnostic no.63 should show the error codes, and you can get some info from it.

Hope nothings big...

hmm.. can tell me more about this TPS problem?

Orh...... i didnt get it from HL i get it from A.S Phoon (Changi) as i know their boss there since few years ago......

Btw just now i go check my bike liao & warm up until 80 degree as indicated at the temp panel. The idle rmp after warm up fall at the middle of 0-1k. Think its too low as got bro say should be 1250-1350. I adjust it liao but unable to try it out as its raining at the moment. Will try out later if possible & hope its only the rpm setting problem nia :giddy:

A few more question to ask, what kinda of chain lube does not really split off that easily as i just bought maxi chain lube & use its split out beri easy. Then what kinda brand frame slider no need to drill or enlarge the screw hole of my model? I wanted to change my headlight & pilot bulb to white light but what kinda of bulb model to buy as there is H1,H4 & etc.... a bit confuse abt it

Tks to all :cheeky:

Nothing is impossible but not everything is possible so know your own limit, cheers :thumb:

any bro here know r606 batt can be charge by 12v charger?

All bike/car batts can be charged by a 12V charger. The main issue is to find an approximate mAH charger. Too much and it might fry your batt in the long run.

Thank You.

"Urgert Help

Does anyone riding 07R6 facing a yellow warning light appear on the RPM meter. If yes what is the problem."

i have the error 18 also...

I happen to me all the time...

I bet you don't always rev yr bike right?

the ex valve stuck liao... the hong leong say the valve got rusty so stuck liao... For those who always rev their R6 will not have much of this problem...

Posted

Bingo...

isn't much of a very big diff if its stuck. not much difference. A very high chance the ex-up was meant for emission purpose. Take a look at the butterfly"default" position. It is at the "always open" from idling to mid rpm.

A proper ex-up commonly seen in the 1L Yamahas or similar mechanical system in other makes, works in the opposite way.

Any of you guys tried newfren brakes pads before?

Do you mean GOLDFren as of below?

http://www.goldfren.cz/index.htm

http://www.lm-spares.co.uk/acatalog/brakepadshhfront.jpg

If it is.. personal experience on 4 bikes (CBR400RR-J, 00R1, 02R6, VFR) good braking power, with slightly softer pad feel companied by alotta brake dust. Performance diminish with mileage pretty fast (maybe abt 5k.) Deteriorates very in-proportion with use if track session were frequent. :giddy:

I would get it (well i got them for the last 4 bikes) when budget is a deep constraint. You can can a few pairs and change as often, which you prob can't with the branded ones.

If $$ is to your dispense, choose the higher end ones with better much braking power along with more mileage. Some items cannot be saved on $$.

Thank You.

Also take note, they are running on Pirelli Diablo Corsa, DOT race tyres, not slicks

GREAT LEAN ANGLE.. NOT TO MENTION THE SHOT!

sorry typo... its 01R6... some of the above owned, shared, rode.

Gold fren for the R6 is abt $S14 per pair (1 caliper). the HH is prob about $S18. Most of them only last a good 3~5k, which drops in performance. But braking effect in the rain is not adversely affected.

An affordable alternative for 1 full set, provided you replace them when they go kaputz...

Thank You.
