Currently my frend just check and there is no sliders from motovasion for R6 08.

Hi there, R6 08 frame sliders will be available both in Cut and Non-Cut. It will be probably out by end of Feb 2008. Which bikeshop told you that?

 

Front fork and Axle sliders are out already.

Motovation will definitely have cut and no cut sliders for the 08..Just that they need to design the bracket and such before launching out the sliders..

For the moment dunhaf, but their doing now. 06/07's cannot fit 08..

For me so far, i only believe in sliders from Motovation or other major brands..Recent years, a brand apparently pop out..Cheaper of cos but after hearing how a shop tries to sand/file down that particular brand, i've doubts about it's quality..

or u guys can spend abit more to get the original from HL. comfirm no need to cut fairing, but it protect the engine more than the fairing

same here brother.. but problem is.. lets say. if you go to track or outside *touchwood* you fall.. what if the bracket can take the impact but the magnesium frame cant? if that thing were to crack .. then your engine confirm loose liao.. then gg liao. frame i think dunno cost how many thousands bucks compared to a few hundred bucks fairing.. which one would you choose.. dunno.. i think for now dont do anything yet.. just wait and see lo.

 

oh yeah.. also i heard most likely hl wont be giving the single seat for free. heard it cost $400+ .. zzzzz made of gold i think.

its actually the same pricing that the older gen bros, 03-05 riders bot it from them lorr..

the 06-07 riders are just lucky..

(most prob due to yamaha 10th yr anniversary in 2006 and the 06-07 being having the same body construction, so free single seaters made in bulk )

 

so it maybe back to square one for the rest again.

hmm any 08 bros have fixed the 08 sliders? die die also need to make hole on part of the fairing?? from what my motordiam tell me is that motovation dont do the bracket due to its a one bolt to the side frame? anyone who have does it can clarify?

i gotta agree i rather 'sacrifice' the fairin then damage the main frame of my bike.. but sliders r actually good for stationary drops..
