guys, nd ur advise pls. im plannin to buy a full system & aftermarket airfilter.do i REALLY nd a pc3? can i install a full system without it? will it damage my bike without da pc3? thanks guys...

correct me if i'm wrong but if u get a full system tunning is required.. so u need the pc3 to tune to get peak performance for ur bike.. if not if u juz get the full system will kinda be wasting ur money cos i think after changing and no tunning ur low and mid range power will be quite chui..

According to Ah Xiong of HKL, installing of full system without PC 3 in a long run will damage your engine cos A/F ratio will become lean. When A/F ratio become lean for too long and at high rpm, it will damage your engine..BTW got my PC 3 only after 3-4 mths after I got my full system. So far so good..

To answer your question, yes u need a PC 3 to make the necessary fuel adjustments to lengthen and optimise engine performance. Power and torque gained is just a by product..

Damage wun but ur bike wil be running at too rich thus lead to uneven combustion therefore keep backfiring ^__^

But if you didn't cap/plug the PAIR valve when you install or haven't install the PC 3, the back firing occurs..Only when you cap/plug the PAIR valve will the backfiring decreases..

I got a frend currently with a akra full sysy also without pc3 also backfire.

 

Sorry can you explain the pair valve thingy as i have not heard of "pair" valve.

The only valve thingy related to air compression i know is the valve springs or probaly you are talking abt the O2 sensor?

Ah ic ic e AIS, but AIS even if you tune from there also backfire mahs cos no pc to control regulate air flow in and out which e ecu will not b capable of am i correct becos the pc will maintain and help to regulate properly right? Mayb can help in this part if you noe Wayang or any other bros

So this is not needes lahs~~ and this is the mod used by David las time on his old srad with the tiny cannister at the back.

 

Not needed becos our new ecu can vontrol via the O2 sensor if im not wrong.
