my friend lost his bike at the MSCP at downtown east chalet 2 days ago at ard 4am ..

he got off his bike at ard 12am , a passerby asked him for directions , he assisted him and therefore forgot that his key is still in his ignition . according to the CCTV there , his bike was stolen minutes before he reach the MSCP at 4am .

 

CCTV also captured that its a bunch of riders hanging out near that area .. spotted the key is there . then that whole lot left , after that , 1 bike pillion 1 guy went back to the MSCP again . the pillion start the bike and left off .

 

that bunch of rider is using "cutting/logo" helmet .. its a orange design in the centre of the helmet with gold strip at the side .

 

bike lost was a R6'08 . black . fully stock with K2 tyre .

 

number plate : FY908D

 

any1 with info on this helmet design or this particular bike .. pls call me at

9366-4949 .. thanks lot ..

go for Scorpio alarms dude, its $400 but worth it. . .juz plug & play installation, no messy wiring, alot of cool feature & optional upgrades. . .

 

the unit & the siren is all-in-one & is very small, like the size of ciggaratte box but is damn loud. . . there's nice spot to place the unit in the r6. .

 

those cheap alarms maybe affordable but the unit & the siren is separated. . .have u seen how they install it to yr bike? its not worth to mess up my R6's wiring. . .

Bike shop took mine in for $15k. 9 months old bike.

 

i am curious how come u sell so low at $15k for a 9mth old bike? since the bike price is like 22k..

HKL racing(former Unity)...Price wise, its in the upper range but worth e expertise service rendered.

 

Basically its the mechanic that you shd go for..I used to go Southern but nw jump to HKL because he work there..

tht time i met up with 1 of the forum guy and he was using steelmate 2 way that he got when he was on holiday in china, is currently selling for 190 and he got for 110 i think. there is so many alarms on the cmo now, very hard to decide and for everyone of them also got ppl say good. haha..

I have passed the message to whoever is riding out thr whom i knw, i guess this can easily transmit verbally, 1 pass 10, 10 pass 100 so on so forth, pls help to keep a lookout guys, we really dun have a very clear-cut clue, but i tink the closest clue to finding it may come from the design of the helmet.. Supposedly the bunch of those stupid idiots stays in the east. If we really dig tht guy out, he better be mentally prepared..

o i duno that.. just feel the buying price n selling price r too huge in difference for a less than 1yr bike..

 

20.8k seem to be a good price which shop u bought from.. gona get my pricelist for 09 now =)

Yup authorized dealer is cheaper, this is their strategy to outsource their sales. If distributer sell cheaper then bikeshops can close door already.

 

08 model is the major updated model to 07, so people can't be bothered about the price.

 

 

ic.. anyway r6 09 is open for booking the price from hl is machine price $20740.50 and otr without insurance $22700.

 

do u still have your older r6 08 price list from hl like from jan to oct whichever u have..pls provide me the input, thanks.. wanna see how much difference in bike price..

How much is your insurance and COE? From there we can compare..how much we kena chopped..

 

Mine $21500 OTR.. - COE $1200, Insurance $1300(No NCD) = Machine Price ++ $19K

What is your range for cheap? My race fairings is copied from stock. Fender, tank cover, side fairings, front fairings with headlight cut outs, tank heat covers..with paintwork, costs $1300

 

For me its a good buy..My Team FIAT paintwork can cost $500 to $600 easily locally so minus off..$800 for full kit stock fairings is cheap!!

 

Got mine from Hong Kong..Good quality, nice paintwork, fitting is good except for front..a bit only no problem.

Oh..ok, I saw Kuntare then..know by name but not face..big size guy rite? He was there enjoying his ride..

 

I was kept busy by Rahim of Team Singtrek...foohyoh!! He is fast balls...super stock somemore!!

 

1st half hour I was alone practising with no one to pace me along...going slow by majority here standard.

 

Nxt half hour then came Rahim..he worked me out real good!! That's why I can go faster and met my best time..Now I'm suffering from aches all over my body!

 

Still very poor at Turn 2..where Rahim overtook me like I was not there..

I got many more turns to learn..since now I can achieve my best time on my R6, I think I made improvements on my cornering speed. That's why I'm happy today..
