Thanks a lot. i'll just follow your method then. I just hit 500km and means i can go up to 6krpm.

Any recommendation to service or do up the bike? the place i buy the bike, workmanship cannot make it. i see how they do my bike i heart pain loh.

And also does the screws/bolts and parts rust easily? NB after rain, 1 day didn't touch it i see the screws, chain and disc rusting.. super sian. my 7 yrs old super4 didn't rust, my 1 week old r6 start to rust. haiz..

save labour cost n at d same time,u can learn/study abt ur bike....me too experience d rusty condition like yours.

d only way is to park at a MSCP n cover-up ur bike.regular maintanance will help.

save labour cost n at d same time,u can learn/study abt ur bike....me too experience d rusty condition like yours.

oh ur fren eric was fast too.did overtake me at turn5 but managed to catch up at front str8.hehe....

im still slow.3months injury layoff aft knee ops.dat sunday was my 1st time back on track.

i tink my time was arnd 1.48-1.50s...hw abt u?alseri told me to learn fr u leh...

im still slow.3months injury layoff aft knee ops.dat sunday was my 1st time back on track.

i tink my time was arnd 1.48-1.50s...hw abt u?alseri told me to learn fr u leh...

 

wow...3 mths layoff and can clock that kind of time is an achievement already. our standard abt the same la...i'm still trying to break 150. maybe next time we can go rounding together at PG. hee!

ok if u wan crg levers or other parts can try go hardracing.com, i think their price r gd and they have all the stuff tat i like. gd luck.

 

hardracing.com is 1 of the best sites u can go to coz their prices r quite gd.

they can ship internationally but u hv to email them 1st to ask.

quite troublesome coz they dun accept paypal or credit/debit payments.

only by cheques or bank wire transfer.quite headache la.

Hi bros, would like to get some advise here..

 

Bikeshop is offering me the following for '09 r6:

 

1) Trade in stock tyres for corsa3 @ $200..

 

2) LV full titanium system, cost added in to my monthly installment @ $46/mth for 5yrs.. so it's 2.7k++.. was quoted 2.3/2.4 for the FS..

 

Are these gd deals? I am planning to go PG, but dunno when, mostly would be riding to work n going out.. Basically they juz made me gian wif those offers, but would like to seek some advise.. haha.. thks..

stock tires r capable of track duties.. unless u r an expert rider lookin for absolute grip while settin a hot lap..

 

does the full system exhaust come wif power commander ? dun 4get u need to dyno tune it..
