d last time i clocked my fuel trip was rsvd at 230-245km on my r6'09 wit akra full system,pc3 n ignition module.:thumb:

 

great..thats more milleage wif lesser FC... can u explain a bit bout the ignition module? wat is dat n y do u change to that?

i duno exactly hw to explain but here is a rough idea abt it...

ignition module is sumtin dat help tune plug firing time n power.

together wit pc3,which tunes ur FC,ignition module enhance n combine

together wit great effectiveness on d track performance for better horsepower n torque.

y i change to dat?hmm...i hv summed it all up above.hehe:cheeky:

Hey bros, my tire pressure is always on tip top because i usually pump it once every 2 weeks. But seriously i dont ride my R6 hard but it still seems it consumes lots of fuel. I can only go 180km and hit reserve, its too ridiculous to me, as some ppl can go up to like 240km ! there's too much of a diff. Any idea where can i go to check my bike? and what can i do to it? Any suggestion guys, i would deeply appreciate it =)

 

actually there r a few factors dat contribute to ur FC...

tyre pressure,chain slack,air-filter,riding style,weather to start with.

even dirty injectors n jammed valves n blocked exhaust pipes can cause a big diffr.

PC3 tunes the bike power as a whole where as IM is to further enhance the power by individual piston tuning. (kinda forgot also. correct me if i'm wrong)

 

a clear picture will be tune the final gear ratio & individually tuning each gear ratio...

errmmmm...

from wat i noe....it stabilize the current flow thru all the electronics in ur bike especially the ECU... cos the battery cant possibly do that as it only supply cuurent but don noe how much it supply....

huh?my timing at PG? haha i m shy to say coz me no racer.juz a slow newbie rider in a beginner stage....last timed on last trackday was 1.48s.

Hey THanks bro.. Appreciate it.. So do u think i should go ask shop to check it out? if so which bike shop to recommend? btw what is ur idling speed at neutral gear? i often got the engine problem coming out, NO. 18. any idea whats that problem??

i don think so..cos even 1 litre bike can go up to 230km..with the same size of tank..18 litres...

HKL at bukit merah? the one beside i-motoring? isiz the one inside where they can dyno? Can they be trusted anot?? hahhaa.. alot of bike shop cannot be trusted one. All they know is CON..

i suspect its time u change ur engine oil la bro...its quite a common symptom wen d oil thinning (wearing out) n its quite difficult to even go into neutral on stationary.

 

i got no problem going to netural.. eo was juz change only about 1k km, am on maixma fully synteic eo..

 

last time for my old bike cbr150, its more like oiling somewhere.. not too sure on this bike though..

neutral gear idling at 1.2krpm...if error displays on d dashboard,den i tink maybe ur air-filter sensor or injector sensor might b faulty.i had d same problem on my r6 2005 where d engine dies off evry few mins.forgot abt d error num though.its beta 4 u to hv it check over at HONG LEONG.

since u say bikeshops con..then no point asking where to check....

simply go to fav bikeshop n ask them...

maybe u can adjust the gear lever..sometimes the gear shaft can be very far to get to each other..

oic...den perhaps its d gear linkage rod bearing or swivel joint dat nid oiling.

it depend on individual... some like some dun... there's no forcing it. see where u comfortable to spend ur $ at den tats where u go. make friends with mech, with boss, ask & share, clear ur doubts, etc.. spend happily... make ur moolah worth it...
